I wanted "Major_Jizzaster" first, but the script/code they had on their registration page didn't allow for it. I then typed in "ExplosiveJizz" just for giggles :awe:... and it worked :O. If they don't let me keep it, I'm going to see if I can still get my old EA username to work with Origin

After bouncing around from server to server this afternoon, browsing servers, adding friends and whatnot, I gotta say...Battlelog is an absolutely stellar and snappy interface. Soooooo much more thorough and detailed than any crappy in-game server browser as well.

I guess we'll see how it holds up during the official launch, but for now...

Because the release date is the 25th and midnight is the first time it's technically the 25th. People would be angry if they released at noon at which point half the release date is wasted.

Found a fix I think... Right click your game in Origin and repair... let it patch and you should be able to play.

EDIT: Didn't work... now can't get it to install the patch. Do it at your own risk.

Well... the little bits I played of the single player are okay. Biggest issue I have is that it freezes the game entirely when it gets to a checkpoint to save. And there are a LOT of checkpoints apparently. Definitely takes away from what would be an otherwise smooth game.

Actually, if that does what I think it does then it's friggin brilliant. Several games I've played lately have had incredibly low sensitivity in the menus, but high sensitivity in the game. Makes for a very awkward transition and screws with the UI. If you can control menu and gameplay sensitivity separately, then they did us PC gamers a great service.

If it has nothing to do with that then I'm just as confused as you.

It tells me there is 2hrs and 37min til launch, so 12am CST. Maybe the webpage is based on location too? If that is true I'll do the workaround for an hour while Eastern Time zoners get to play.

So looks like Steam isn't getting it. I wanted to hold out just for the sliver of a chance my key might transfer. I better get pre-loading the 5gigs that amazon.com left out.
