-g36,a91,scarWait till the majority of engineers get the G36C and the A-91. I thought overall the G36C was much better than the SCAR. I havent got around to using the A-91 yet, but I notice more and more people using it...err, killing me with it.
It could have been lag...I have clips when I run around a corner and shotgun people in head point blank before they get a shot off and then they somehow one shot me with an AR or sub. And they show no health loss in the kill cam. While the gunplay is not quite as reliable as it should be, 90-95% of the time it seems right. Its just hard to trust what you see because of the lag.

EA refuses to support this error. Their only offer for support was to disable 2 of my cpu cores.

I am returning the game to amazon for a refund. EA really does completely suck.

Only thing I noticed today is that Origin had forgotten my login details and the PING function was actually workikng on the server list (first time ever). Then this error everytime it goes into 3D render mode.
I posted this to the other thread, Advocate, but I think what jlarsson says above could be related to the same issue. VRAM.
Jlarsson - try running eyefinity at lower quality levels, perhaps high with medium textures, no deferred AA. See if it works.

I still cannot believe EA tech support wanted me to disable all virus protection, internet, firewall, and 2 of my 4 CPU cores. What a bunch of effing retards...
I knew it was BF3 and not anything else because I could play other 3D games with no issues. I played a game of SCII while I waited for tech support. No issues at all.
Anyway, after reinstalling everything but windows to no avail, I figured it out when I reinstalled my gfx driver. It detected my TV, so the game was trying to open w/ extended desktop, I guess. In any case, disabling the TV as a 2nd monitor fixed it.
Really disappoints me that EA tech support sucks so bad tho. The guy had literally never heard of my cpu or gpu. WTF?

I just got that same error. But all the 280x drivers have been giving me terrible problems. I've got bluescreen, driver recovery errors, random monitor shutting off, etc.
I'm sure in the next major update all will be better, hopefully. I mean its not like nvidia had months to prepare for bf3 release, so might be something else entirely.
As for that error..i just reset computer (actually had to because drive Bluescreen me) and it started up fine.
I've NEVER had as much problems with nvidia drivers all all the years i've user nvidia cards as i have with the last 3 releases. So i'm sure nvidia is on top of the problem.
Just favorite them and join. I think the platoon is full now, so we can either start AT2 or just have people Fan the platoon instead of joining. But you don't need any affiliation to play on the servers.how do i play on atot servers?

There's a mumble server for the Tugboat but most of the voice chatting seems to be through the friends list/built-in party function. So you should probably friend some people from the platoon roster.
Actually, I have it set to voice-activation. Go to the Com Center settings in the bottom corner to change it.How do you chat through the battlelog site? I see the icons for turning on and off the mic and speakers but I can't find key settings for what I have to push to talk.

Also, anyone else not getting surround sound? I have my 5.1 hooked to my mobo and I'm not getting anything in the rear speakers. The drivers show the rears working just fine and they work in other games, including BC2. Any ideas?
Engineers SCAR-H, G36C, or UMP?
Not lvl 16 yet but so I don't have UMP yet but it's my next unlock. Just unlocked G36, I like the very low recoil compared to the SCAR but very hard to get used to the iron sites opposed to thermal or red dot.
