UMP is sort of useless now. Nice to carry over unlocks to other kits, I guess.

I'm nearly to the point where I'm going to stop playing till they fix some crap.

I get these issues constantly and one of them downright makes the game unplayable when it happens.

First and worst is my mouse/keys stop responding at all but if I hit esc and pull up the window and hit esc again all works well (sometimes rest of the game other times just moments). It isn't my kb or m, I switched them out with my other PC's and same crap. Sucks total ass being in the middle of a fight in a tank and then I can't turn the cannon all of sudden, might as well just give me the respawn screen and save me the few seconds.

The game still doesn't like remember what my load outs are for tanks sometimes and my character load outs, my gun constantly loses all of its accessories even when before the match starts and I check the customize screen it shows them on, yet when I spawn, nope!

These two issues have really pushed me to the edge. I like the game, I have some other issues, but these two just ruin it for me. The only other true grip I have is, it is hard as fuck to see people a lot of times, but whatever.

If anyone's having problems with your character apparently moving to the left without you doing anything, it may be that you have a joystick plugged in. Everytime I get out of a chopper after flying with my controller, my character moves left on its own until I move the sticks on the controller (which controls the character too). Somehow that resets it so I can use the mouse again.

I guess another option is to clear out all the controller settings for the "on foot" controls. Haven't tried that yet.

Also, in terms of game controllers, I noticed that the game will not recognize them unless you have one plugged in before you start up. If I plug it in during the game, it won't register.

That is what I did and it works fine.

Vulgar, make sure you aren't hitting the Tilde key by accident. That'll bring up the console, causing you to lose all input keys till you dismiss it.

I only mention it cause I did exactly the same thing at one point and it took me a few moments to figure out why the hell I couldn't move or fire.

Engineers SCAR-H, G36C, or UMP?

SCAR-H is so good it's getting a nerf in the patch. UMP is so bad it is getting a buff. That should be enough info for you.

Though since the G36C will be unchanged, if you wanna be prepared for the patch you might want to start using it now (since you'll have to readjust to the other guns).

How do I equip these scopes I was awarded days ago. I've been awarded the ACOG 4x scopes on both the Assault AK74M and the Assault M16A3 according to battlelog (and I'm well past those awards btw), but I can't seem to build a weapon, AK74M or the M16A3, with that re-gen interface where I select my class and modify my kit options. It's just not an option. when I click on anything...

I can only seem to modify my gun selection, but not the properties of my guns...

i think you have to go to "customize" then select your weapon, then hit "accessories" and click on of the empty options. do this during the deploy menu

OK, so I recently started playing with the assault class to unlock smoke, and the M320 + shot and M26 have keep me using it. I just unlocked the AEK-971, and so far to me its the best gun in the game. I have been using it with just the grip, as anything else seems to make it not as effective. I think this was a starting gun in BFBC2, but I dont remember it being this good. I can go full auto at long range and there seems to be very little recoil. Even feels like I move around faster with it.

That is my favorite gun in the whole game too... planning to use it primarily once I unlock all the other weapons for other classes... in terms of RPM, Range, and Accuracy I think it's much better the m16a3 and AN-94... and I'm praying they don't nerf it by the time I get back to it...

AK74M/M16A3 are the best guns in the game if you ask me. 0 recoil and they kill quick.

I love planting C4 on walls in buildings when you know someone is behind it and blowing it up killing them.

I'm growing tired of getting disconnected from servers randomly. Thats why I only play a few matches a day, nothing is more frustrating than playing a great match then getting disconnected at end of map. Stats don't save.

They made it so you can't level fast by just introducing random disconnects it seems.

The end unlocks are also a waste. You get the starting guns, just for the opposite sides. Lame. I'll take my G36c and M60 over the starters any day of the week.

Speaking of which, yes, the SCAR-H is OP, but I still run with the G36c over it.

Last night on Tugboat was bad... I was like, ok, only one more match. 12am... then ok, just until 12:30 to make it even. Rinse and repeat until it was 1:30 or so and justified it by daylight savings. Some good teamwork last night too. Whoever was providing smoke to get to the objectives was good at it. Though there was so much of it, it was the first time my FPS dropped to a crawl.

So true! Why doesn't that darn Q work in single-player? Oh yeah, that's because your teammates in single-player do whatever the heck they want to, not want you think they should do!

How are you guys playing more than 30min at a time? No one in group i play with can even play for the last week because of constant disconnects.

A big thread on it, but nothing from dice for a whole week seems odd.
