Really had no issues with beta and my ping and all else loads with no issues just this battlelog and me don't work.

What browser is everyone using and what version?

Chrome never gives me issues but it does have a habit of defaulting me over to tampa bay florida craigslist when i am in california leading me to believe perhaps my isp is giving me service from there?

Everything on my machine is up to date its a fresh install basically .

Going to try with internet explorer 9 and see if my problems persist...

Edit:haven't used ie in a long time but that defaults craigslist to tampa bay too...

Can't hurt to just go to: http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and see what it says (as it includes location). I'm looking for another tool I've used just to see where I was being seen. I'll post if I can find it again.

Think its actually server related i'm asking around as i join them and it seems a lot of people are pissed off...

Problem is sorta disappearing for me now...but had to drop my settings why that would cause the issue i don't know but appears that's the problem .

Game is completely broken for me now after the patch. The screen is completely black and I can hear the sounds of the game, but it stays black.

Edit: Fixed, had to download small update file because I am doing the russian language change thing.

Ordered a 6950 2gb :awe: Coming from a GTX 260 192sp so it should be a pretty big upgrade. I'm at 1080p so I should be able to do Ultra settings w/o MSAA I think.

Nice upgrade for sure, about 2x the power. But depending on your preference for smoothness, you might have more luck with high than with ultra/no msaa. At high you'd be around 50fps, at ultra/no msaa, it'll probably be closer to 45. That's with a quad, by the way.

Verdict: HD6950 is playable at ultra, no HBAO, no MSAA, no blur.

Here's what HardOCP found using the HD6950:



This is all ultra with HBAO and blur but no MSAA. HardOCP says it wasn't playable at these settings.

To get playable settings, they ran all ultra/no msaa, but with blur turned off and HBAO turned down to SSAO. Makes a huge difference. Both average just about 60fps. It seems like one of the settings they turned off was causing lag on the 6950.

Im not liking whatever they did to the mouse settings though. It was perfect before, now it just feels weird. I played around with the sensitivity but cant find that sweet spot. :thumbsdown:

Its because it IS NOT patched. Its in next patch along with IRNV being changed.

Whether it says it or not, it sure as hell isn't patched.

No where in the patchnotes does it have any mention of the tactical flashlight. Also, they have said that both said flashlight and IRNV changes were too complex to complete in time and did not make it into the Nov 22nd patch.

70 at the moment.

i have hbao off, blur off, aa at 2x and most everything else on ultra. I will try and remember to run a benchmark next time I play a round...

I wonder why they didn't keep the beta/alpha settings for the IRNV. It was really hard to use for the outside areas and it really limited the user to a very short distance. Inside it was more effective but the ambient lighting was definitely dimmer for the area and it made sense to use the scope. The first thing I noticed while testing the final builds for the press was that the IRNV was godly. I definitely brought it up as a feedback tip.

As for the mouse changes, I really didn't see what the problem was before. It is just a nuisance to tweak me mouse settings again.

Was it like that when the game started, because I've been in a high ticket game where by the end, the forest became a Kansas plain after constant bombardments and destruction. I love it.

ditto. i was having some trouble with the mouse last night too. i had to lower the sensitivity a bit to get it back to where it was but i think i still need some tweaking.

i will say the stuttering ive been having since release is completely gone with the new patch. its now nice and smooth.
