Played some CQ for the first time. Jumped into a gun master server and actually won the second game and did good a few others. I ignored CQ completely but I was actually having some intense fun. Like, my heart was pounding and I started to feel weak like, "Oh god I better win or lose quick because the suspense is going to kill me". So, I will be playing CQ every so often as a great way to break it up and refresh myself. Also, some of the level look really great. I wasn't expecting that for a small indoor environment. Pleasantly surprised with gun master at least. Yes I know its a COD ripoff but whatever. They stole it for a reason.

EDIT: Just have to say its impressive that DICE has created such a diverse game that offers so many different experiences all under the BF3 banner. Pretty damn good. I used to constantly switch between BF2 and COD 4 back in the day. Now I can play all BF3 without having to be a COD noob!

It was a 55 minute long super high ticket round. He probably played the whole thing, while most of the other players on the battlelog played only a portion. Seriously, it's not hard at all to get ~3 kills per minute in TDM.

He played on a 1000 ticket Metro server = still pretty impressive... 80% of my BF3 games are on 1000 ticket Metro servers and I don't sit around and lob nades - I actually try to get as much kills as I can rushing, but never close to 170kills.... VulgerDisplay - you should join expanda, wacojohnnie, and I to be on the same squad in a metro server = total Domination!

Played AK rush defender, died 3 times in a row from the AC 130. Quit that, will never play AK rush again until the AC 130 is removed.

Played TDM on B2K, forgot how much fun it was.

Do the defenders get air assets that can shoot down the AC-130?

AC130 is not as big an issue (post-projected patch) as people make it out to be. It's in almost constant stinger range, and two passes from a jet will usually take it out.

Alborz Mountains 64 player rush is my new favorite. There aren't that many servers that run it (not 64 player) so I can only get in a few matches here and there. It is such a perfect map for rush.

The problem was, the server was half full; us defenders did not have adequate stingers equipped as eople were defending against the armor coming in.

I died running from the spawn to the defending points; so no chance to even defend these points as I was out in the open, no cover from the spawn to the defensive point.

It just was not fun; I don't mind losing or getting steam rolled, but death from above that cannot be combated because you only have enough people to defend the ground assault is ridiculous.

Back in the day we used to all fight each other all the time when Tugboat was running. Destiny, Panda and Spike used to be a pain in the butts because we generally play the same way and would always run into each other. But when on the same squad it was usually pretty devastating. If we didnt win, we would always get Squad MVP, and finish MVP1 - 3.

But it was definitely fun playing against everyone. You learned how they play, so when they post you know how they do what they do. You have guys like Quantum who head glitch and camp with tactical lights. Vulgar uses an aimbot. Aequitas and CanBacon are tank whores. And Zargon, well, even the sun shines on a dogs butt once in a while. :biggrin: j/k everybody!

Used to have like 10 or more ATers on a server. I think us west coasters used to go against the east coasters, because we'd join after everyone was already on a side. It was fun showing up on a server and breaking up an AT squad's dominant run. Or at least being a pain in their butts!

Theres not enough of us playing at the same time to do that now, so its better to squad up when you can.

Expandas has been on at ridiculous times and playing with me lately. I don't get off work until 2:00am these days, so i play from 3:00am central to about 5:00am every day.

That was my first thought. But then again, if people look at my stats they might think im a hacker having 50% headshots...but i'm a sniper so its only natural. I'd have to watch someone play to see how they get 30% headshots with heavy machine guns. It might be map dependant where they have a particular place that they camp and can mow people down at head level, so I duno.

This site correctly flags his stats. I searched my own name and my headshots were listed as suspicious, but there are no cheat flags associated with me. I suspect that in order to really get flagged you need to be cheating. Its an interesting site. Search all your BF3 friends!

When I watched your videos thats the impression I got...head glitching (cover), tact light, and discipline (camping). Not a bad thing, just the opposite of how I play. If I know there are 8 guys around a corner, I jump in there trying to get 3 or 4. More times then not I get only one or none, but it never deters me. You play pretty disciplined, holding areas, using cover, retreating, etc. I think the head glitching impression is from the way you use cover. Its all smart and disciplined play. Not all that macho, but smart. :biggrin:

I think we've played maybe once or twice. I notice you and Vulgar usually come on when I am ready for bed.

bipod and bursting. Even without a bipod, if they are aiming at the head they are bound to get a headshot with one of the bullets. Check the accuracy. For example, my headshot % with the M60 is 25%, and I don't particularly go out of my way to aim for the head. My accuracy is 7%. lol

EDIT: On the M240B, my headshot % is 34%, accuracy is 7%. QB B095 is 29% with 9%. MG36 is 50%!, but I only have 6 kills with it. lol Kinda funny, but outside of sniper rifles, my highest HK% is with LMGs... I don't normally aim for the head, so I think its just luck with the kick. I'm sure someone who uses them more would be better with them than I am.

EDIT2: Interesting stats of the day...with the SPAS-12 I have 104% accuracy. 1443 shots, 1505 hits! Javelin...67%. SMAW and RPG are in the 70s. Stinger/IGLA is 35% So I miss more with something that homes in. :\

Adding in the accuracy tells all. I think they are legit and are just good. I never suspected this person anyway, but I was curious about the stats.

I am enjoying all game modes, I am mostly an infantry person as I have been since BF2. But if the teams are even AK can be great fun it's not so much killing people all the time but working together on objectives.

With vanilla, BK, AK, and CQ, along with all the different game modes BF3 really can cater to most people. I am sad that there aren't more options for competitive play and mods and such, but I think they have done a great job with the different styles of play.

Anyone been using the Spas-12 with slugs in CQ, that is freaking sweet... so much fun. I also have been running around just using the .44 and knife in CQ which is another fun thing to do. last round I played with using .44 and knife went 47-15 and first place in points
