Is there some sort of trick to exiting a tank? I swear I end up in front all the time and it almost always is a death sentence.

Yeah if you want to exit behind a tank quickly hop into the gunner position to swivel around quickly, then exit. That way you keep the main tank gun pointed in the right direction.

I guess I don't really need to mention that it is the 10th year anniversary today. So they are doing a sale, for today only, that any BF game is now 10 dollars each.

Though, it doesn't look like 1942 and Vietnam isn't on the list. Those were the two games I lost my discs for.

WOW! How many shots did that take, or was it just dumb luck?

My longest is 520m, it took me a few shots and that was at a stationary target.

Get a huge thrill racing my tank to the nearest enemy tank like Mario Andretti and going for it,i never camp with mine.

Yes, there is a trick. Before exiting, turn your turret in the direction you want to exit. You will exit in that direction.
But that has its own pros/cons.

Hahaha, just finished a crazy round of Caspian. Came in with a team half down on tickets, something like 400-800, and went on a murderbox rampage, played for about 25 minutes and killed 69 people. Noobs on the enemy side could only kill me by C4 ramming jets into me, last guy to do so had a skill rating of something like 200, which because I started the round with 900+ caused me to LOSE ten points despite going 69-8. Effing candy-ass douchebags. Not only that, but this dumbshit drove waaaaaaaaaaaay the fuck out to our spawn to c4 ram with a jeep. What was he going to do, stare angrily at the next bunch of people to spawn on a server with a crapton of people constantly spawning? Hahahah.

Honesty sucks sometimes, but here it is anyway. A friend and I set that shot up and it took a lot to land it in the head despite him standing still. He achieved a similar headshot on me as well. It was done on Bandar Desert and was done for fun. We will go for longer next time just to see how far we can go. I have heard of others breaking 2000. My longest natural headshots are in the 1400m range on Oman from carrier to land and land to carrier.

Yeah,i have seen snipers attempting to snipe the bases on over by the beach landing and stuff from the us deployment ship deck,and all i would usually see is the sniper falling dead.

Sorry, very old question here. I'm about to reinstall a new OS and will reinstall BFBC2, and possibly BF3. I have these on DVD, which will be a PITA to install/update/config again. Is there a way to download or such these days from the 'cloud' or whatever Origin is?

You could download both games in origin,BC2 i know will not require origin being open to play the game,but it will nickpick for the recent update if you wanna play it online,its a big focker too the update that is.

BF3 well when you download it,the update is already patched into the exe,just download and it installs itself,while BC2 just makes you manually download the update on its own,which isn't that sufficient.

Ok thanks. So I install origin, input my screen name and password, and from there can do all downloading and activations? I don't need find my cd keys?

You'd have to go back to BF2 to find a DICE game that's not associated your EA Login. Unless you have multiple EA login ID's, all the newer games should show up when you login to Origin.
