Meh, laziness and preoccupations from every day's obligations and work (and tiredness).
Digital purchases were meant to accommodate that, to be at anyone's grasp in no time, a few clicks at home and the download starts. That works, until a developer trips on the branch of a integrity tree and as a consumer can't buy something that is released.
It's ok though, I make it sound like I'm pissed off. I'm not... well yes I am, but I'm not. I understand why they're doing it, "makes sense" (it does, no sarcasm). But I'm frustrated anyway. It's a necessary evil, but it won't make all consumers smile either.
I agree normally, but one you can walk into any best buy etc and pick it up tonight, 2 you save downloading 17 or so gigs by having a disk version.
Also once in game you can upgrade your normal retail version to the digital CE in the cash store if you wanted to.
