Leveling doesn't seem all that hard to me, I just spend way too much time trying to make money with the TP I still haven't gotten my 2.4 gold back from their stupid lag spike eating it up >_>

Also people have been 80 for days now, not all that surprising since there some very efficient ways of leveling, such as having groups help you, or just being a warrior

wanted me to re-authenticate this morning. sent me an email (claims a new IP address?). It worked.

I just now closed the client because we are having group issues staying together in AC, so of course--it wants to authenticate again. No email, just freezing.

well, it is currently their top known issue. Anyone else annoyed that all of the update info is sent via FB or Twitter? I don't use any of that crud.

I tried a few times today but, you know, random invite issues. Could be that it just goes back and forth between players.

yes, I didn't notice the box the first time I authorized, then again this morning when it sent that. Now, it refuses to send an authentication email, and of course the one from this morning doesn't work.

I'll see if I can do anything through account online, but I remain apprehensive that it will get me anywhere.

I just tried it and it worked. yeah since the purchase of the game. Right now, it asked me to verify my IP addrses and location. I did, seems to be ok now... we will see next time i log in...

Thanks. Just tried it myself. And after failing many times last week, indeed, it now works. I am authenticated now.
And yes, I bought a box too.

Well, I just hit 80 on my Warrior in the middle of a WvWvW match. I started out doing 100% zone completions and story with a bit of WvWvW mixed in. After 50, I did more WvWvW than PvE, so I ended up skipping a lot of zones until I went to the Orr 70+ areas and did a bunch of the roaming dynamic events there. I barely did any crafting, maybe only half a level. I didn't have enough resources or space and the broken Trading Post didn't help.

Now I have to figure out the basic starter gear for 80. I have some Karma saved up since i didn't really spend it on gear along the way. I probably won't go back and complete the mid-level zones I missed, since I have 5 alts to play and I'd like to see new stuff the next time around.

I will go back and finish the story and probably complete the highest level areas to see what's out there. I'm not much of a traditional endgame raider, so I might check out some of the instances, but I'll probably spend more time on WvWvW, alts and crafting.

I hope they fix the Trading Post soon, because that's a good part of the game that I enjoy that isn't working. I did loose a bunch of stuff I put on during one of the earlier Trading Post tests when there was limited access. I hope they can restore at least some of what was lost. There are tons of little bugs and glitches in all areas of the game, but the broken Trading Post is probably the most disappointing part of the launch.

Looking forward to playing my next alt, but it will be tough to choose which one. Probably Mesmer, Ranger or Engineer. I may try them all out in WvWvW before I decide.

so unless I'm doing something wrong, leveling is fairly slow.

I think my highest character is at level 8. I go around to hearts, i do the things that pop up every now and then, i do the story quests but i think sometimes i get ahead of myself because on 1 character for sure, he was below the level most of the enemies were in the instance.

I also don't see very many events popping up. feels like I am just walking from place to place with no real goal. eventually i am hitting places where the enemies are too strong.

I also gather some crafting items but haven't done any crafting. I really have no interest in crafting.

Seems the more and more i play the less I like about the game. Feels like a single player game and that isn't why i bought it.

You can do almost everything in the game by yourself if you chose to, I ran with a group of friends for the starting areas and we all helped each other in the quests. Clearing all the objectives on a map + story line on that map should almost always put you a level above the map or so. If you're not already in the guild, why not join us and then play with some of the lower leveled characters (I'm tempted to start my Thief atm).

Lol Anubis, you and I have different problems. I can't find the POI above that WP slightly to the left of your arrow D: In-game name so I can hop on my Charr and we can swap info?
