PvP has been awesome supposedly, as our server currently destroys all, lol.

I haven't played yet, but I'm itching too, soon. Though I hear queuing for it the last day or so has been impossible. (maybe everyone wants in now to share in the glory of success? :\)



Guild update:

I upgraded capacity today to 100, as we hit our limit of 50 when I tried to invite some more this morning. It cost only 1 silver, haha. (for future reference, you have to have a certain number of active(meaning, representing) members online at that moment before it allows you to upgrade limit--not sure how many, but I'll assume 10% as that seemed to be the case)

I'll send invites that haven't been sent when I get back.


Diesbudt queued guild bank, and it should be ready way early Thursday morning.

I've tried my hand at a little WvWvW, and it's true ... Stormbluff is steamrolling the other 2 servers (at least the times I've been playing).

It's a great source of Karma and XP, if you are in need of a boost. The only problem is that it's a zerg-fest (like early Alterac Valley for those who have played vanilla WoW).

Yea its ment to be that way. A huge battle. I cant wait for the smaller PvP games.

I don't mind it so much (mostly because it's a quick way to get karma and xp), but I know it's a playstyle a lot of people don't enjoy (why I mentioned it).

one thing I have noticed, not that i am complain about is I wish there was an option to slow down xp gain. I was farming some mats and pretty much almost gained almost a whole level just farming.
seems to be a common request in most mmos, i can see why.

pvp/WvWvW i have not tired yet maybe later this week once stuff settles down.

I was thinking of trying to get as much recipes as possible but I think i will give up on that, too many options for it

Good thing the game has is, if you out level a area say you are lvl 20, and want to do a lvl 12ish area, it scales you back down to the level for it. And since all exp gain is the same from 11-80 there is no downside to going back and doing content you out leveled from crafting or whatever.

Yep. After my starting zone, instead of going to the 15-25 zone first, I went to an adjacent 1-15 startign zone (sylvari) to work on that map area.

yeah, that was my experience during the brief time I played in BW1. I was trying to announce the team, um...guys! Hey guys! I can, like, make teleports and stealth up to the gate so all you can just zip in past the rain of arrows!

I would rather die in a downfall of arrows than trust people with teleports!!!

This game is really well thought out.

Loved my yesterday session when the "final" event poped on the starting Norn Map where you had to kill a Dragon Dude.

Big chest appeared after we killed him with some loot in it.

Love every bits of time I logged in, great game.

And I have all weekend to play since I forgot to renew my passport to go surf in Hampton Beach with my gf and friends...shame on me for being such absent-minded

I was having so much fun with that. Since it became a big zerg fest, I decided to just ignore individuals, and run around in the mob opening teleports to just fuck people up all over the battlefield. The chat box became quite hilarious.


...unfortunately, I was misremembering the skill--my strategy was to move players from the opposing team around and completely fragment them. Then I realized the skill only worked for allies.....


which explains why I was seeing comments in chat, you know, being that you only see your own team.

Is anybody else having frame rate woes? I'm rocking an i7 860 at stock, 12 gb of ram, evga geforce 480, auzentech prelude. The frame-rates are all over the place. I can be sitting there at 60 fps but it gets chunky if I spin the camera around. The fps will drop into the low 20's during heavy action.

I'm using the new beta drivers that came out yesterday for my card and they didn't seem to make much of a difference. I can make the game play at an acceptable frame-rate by making the game look like crap, but I would rather not.

My i7, 8 gigs ram and GTX 670 has been doing great at 2560x1440 reso so far.
