St. Louis had the second pick, you obviously have some needs to address and they continuously have traded down to stockpile picks. So they plan on making their team younger with 13 rookies and sucking even more next year?

The Rams have a terrible team, if there's a team that needs to greatly improve its overall roster depth, it's the Rams.

Edit: Love the picks, BTW. Taking Hightower is the equivalent of taking an OLB, since it allows Mayo (who's probably a little better there) to move outside.

Pass push was priority #1. Now if they take a safety and maybe a corner in round 2, and I'll be happy.

Wow.

If you would have told me before the draft that DeCastro would fall to the Bears and they would pass on him I would have laughed out loud.

After all of the embarassing OL play over the past few years they had a chance to add the guy who was the safest OL pick in the draft and they pass on him. A guy who pretty much everyone agrees will give you 10-12 years of high level play.

Maybe they know something.

They should replace the Pro Bowl with those made-for-tv skills competitions they used to have. Watching NFL players try to swim 25 yards was hilarious. But nothing beats watching Jerome Bettis in the pass-catching drill.
