Wow, some VERY surprising deals out there. The Redskins are a freaking joke. Garcon and Morgan are.... ok? At best. To pay those two guys so much money is absolutely ridiculous. They are a dime a dozen type of player, IMO. SF got a great deal on Moss. Marshall to the bears is a great trade and they only gave up two 3rd's if I remember correctly. They need a receiver, Cutler/Marshall had great chemistry before. That will improve the bears team immensely. Im surprised the Dolphins agreed to it. I guess that means Miami isn't getting Peyton.

VJax to Tampa makes sense. He got paid a ton, but he's a good player. I'm surprised he preferred to play with Freeman to Rivers, but maybe S.D. didn't want to pay him.


Mario Williams to the Bills would make a highly underrated defense quite a bit better. Buffalo is a good team. Nobody knows it, but they are.


And as a huge Cowboys fan, I can't tell you how happy I am to see Newman get cut. That guy was the most overpriced bum. He used to be good, a few years ago. I don't know what happened, but he has sucked for awhile now.

Mario Williams is leaving Buffalo without a deal. Not saying he wont sign there, but looks like he wants to see a few more places. Also being reported that the Bears dropped out. Man would I like to see the Chargers make that deal.

Now get the band back together and sign Royal. Bennet imo is best suited as a #3 guy (a great #3 at that).

The Bucs needed a serious threat at WR and VJax was the best available.

Of the teams with the most salary cap space available the Bucs are number 3. They need to pick up some strong defensive cornerbacks and/or safety to stop the 10 - 20 yard passes they got burned on all last season. Aqib Talib is too fragile and while Ronde Barber is a legend he's a bit long in the tooth. They have the money to do it but if they don't shore up their pass defense this season it won't matter and the Bucs will be a joke, again, in 2012.

local news is reporting that Moss's minimum contract is a show me contract, so...they ain't risking nothing!

One article mentioned that his contract was for $55,555,555, which is ocho cincos.

Hopefully that's not a harbinger of bad things to come for the Bucs.

Earlier, it was assumed that the Colts would keep Garcon and let Wayne walk, but when Garcon got away, they saw that they had no choice. It is great having Reggie back to work with Luck.

I was a bit surprised by this, but I'd have to say that it should help Luck tremendously.

My guess is they'll need to find a burner later in the draft and hope that he pans out. Pretty much always need 1 guy to stretch the field, and Wayne is not that.
