I guess that's not too bad since it comes with free 2nd day shipping. More importantly, they're actually in stock.
I'm not really familiar with Monarch's combos... Is there a way I can just order the motherboard and CPU from them as a combo without them building and testing it first? The reason I'm asking is because I'm planning on buying my HSF and RAM elsewhere.Originally posted by: jc717

I'll repost from above, since people have apparently missed it...
if you're getting a MB as well, Monarch has the 4400+ OEMs for $585, but only if it's part of a combo deal.
Here's the link to Monarch's AMD combo page.

When you select the 4400 OEM chip, there's pop up that says that you're only pre-ordering it.
But they are in stock. Mine shipped out a couple of days ago.
Also, Monarch's AMD combos come with free full versions of Far Cry and Half Life 2.
JC
The problem with Monarch is that their motherboards are 20% more expensive than NewEgg/ZZF and their shipping is hefty. I'm going to wait until everyone has the OEM 4400+ in stock before choosing a vendor.Originally posted by: jc717I'll repost from above, since people have apparently missed it...

NewEgg is $126 with cheaper shipping... but that's one of the better deals at Monarch. Most of the NF3 boards I've been looking at ar $20+ more at Monarch.Originally posted by: Hacp
Umm, Monarch charges like 8 dollars shipping for the combo, and also, they have the DFI Ultra-D for 129 dollars, free shipping. Thats better than Newegg I think.
LINK. I'm not sure how this differs from the LANPARTY one.Originally posted by: Hacp
Umm right now i'm looking at new egg and it says 129 dollars, and 2.50 shipping. Monarch has it for 129 and free shipping..... The 8 dollar shipping thing I was talking about was with the Combo deal for an X2 processor and a 939 motherboard.

4200
I already ordered a 4400 but thought I'd pass this along.
I think they've got one or two left and they've raised the price to the moon so they won't go out of stock. I'd be very surprised if they're selling enough at that price to make any difference to a big company like Newegg.Originally posted by: Acadien
What is up with the insane price of the 4400 on newegg?!?!?
Exactly! That's why a number of folks call them screwegg.Originally posted by: Acadien
I see...but if Newegg just slaps a "Expected Stock Ariving on XX/XX/XX" I would understand. But this is price gouging.
