Official Athlon 64 X2 preorder/instock thread...

I ordered the 4400 for 610 from ZZF yesterday and it still says processing...i have a feeling that Im not going to get it. There is a pending charge on my CC however.

I take it you never got an "out of stock" email from them? My order is just sitting there too... of course the cancel button is gone so it's too late for that. It would be nice to have the OTHER stuff from my order.

I called Global and they said they are showing that a shipment is coming in today. I placed an order with them so I guess i'll just wait and see. If it doesn't ship today, I will just cancel it.

No...i have NOT received an email from them. Nor can I cancel my order online anymore...Im going to call them when they open.

same here.. the guy (Bob) told me they are getting only 10 in today.. and should ship out today anyone who is in queue. If it doesnt, i'll cancel also

Tiger Direct has the "in stock" up as well. I ordered it but my order status shows backordered. So I called them and the representative apologizes and says sorry for the inconvinence and says it's not in stock *sigh...* so I went ahead and asked for ETA and he says it doesn't show. Just letting you guys know

I think the "in stock" "not in stock" is going to continue for a while. As I said earlier, only the *really* big guys are getting any yet, and even then, only a few here and there. I hate to say it, but I think mid July/early August might be a reasonable assumption for wide-spread availability.

I'm just glad that the last of my stuff from anybody and everybody is shipping out to me now... I hope that FedEx works weekends so I can get the last package tomorrow... it was about 1,500 miles away last check, which was 4 hours ago.

Strange I don't remember my 4800+ that I got yesterday from Mwave have the word "box" at the end of the serial. I'll double check it again today when I start building my rig. It's wierd though because it came sealed in the retail box. Retail or OEM chip I really don't care since I finally got it. Don't know what I'm going to do with the paper weight heatsink/fan since I'm connecting it to my vapochill case..heh.

dont be fooled by the tigerdirect & globalcomputer showing "instock". There actually not instock, but "expecting" them today, just like everyone else. This is False Advertising..

My 4400 from ZZF shows its been shipped today and I have the tracking number. Expecting it on monday! I'm glad they came through. I think their warehouse is in my hometown. I called once to see if they do will call, but they dont. 3 more days.

So I call ZZF to ask them the status of my order (4400) and they put me on hold...then they tell me that the product is on backorder and wont have any till the end of this month. They did charge my CC so I told them to cancel it and they did.....I will be going somewhere else.

Sorry for any guys that still says processing because most likely that is what they are going to tell you...ZZF sucks!!!!

ZZF said the credit card/address verification held up the order... even though I placed orders with Newegg (auto-address verification button checked out fine at the end of the order), Directron, and Monarch yesterday and they were ALL fine.

So of course they have no 4400+ left, even though I ordered before they jumped the price to $640, at which point they supposedly had some left.

WTF yesterday ZZF called me to make sure my shipping address is correct and told me my X2 4400 will be shipped today (I ordered it around 9:30am). Now I got an email saying that it is in backorder. I just cancelled order with ZZF. thumb down to them........ never buy from ZZF again
