funny thing I noticed, odd episodes (1,3) for Jigoku Shoujo have been very entertaining while the even episodes were ho hum. Hopefully that means eps5 will be great

i pretty much caught up with most series over the weekend. my top picks are :
ARIA the animation
Shakugan no Shana
Rozen Maiden Traumend
Jigoku Shoujo

no surprises there, all of them highly anticipated and turned out to be excellent. ARIA is unfortunately licensed in North America, but Jigoku Shoujo is still avialable. It is not required to watch the prequel to Traumend to follow the story, but highly advisable to do so. Animesuki doesnt show Traumend being subbed yet, but nor it is on the licensed list. Quite surprising, considering how popular the prequel was; someone is bound to pick it up sooner or later.

Canvas2 and Happy7 are looking pretty decent, and the following shows are ok but not too spectacular :
To Heart 2
Mai-Otome
Lamune
Animal Yokochou

I am yet to watch SoltyRei, and dropped Blackcat and Noein. Still awaiting 4-5 new shows tho.

Jigoku Shoujo is on Episode 4 in Japan yet we've only had the 1st episode subtitled. Very frustrating.

But very glad that Haruka is in Mai Otome. Anyone else like Otome? I miss fighting robots, but it's not bad to watch while waiting for other shows to download.
