all i know about shinigami no ballad is that its one of the 3 anime shows based on manga/novels from MediaWorks (the two other being Kashimisi ~ Girl Meets Girl~ and Shakugan no Shana - awesome stuff )

I can't find any more information on the others, including the trailer I linked. Hopefully for that there will be more information from EP when their site is back.
