Hah. As a Tennessee fan it hurts me to root for the Gators but I'm doing it anyway. It amazes me that we can all come together to root for a conference over another conference. I'm enjoying watching OSU get spanked by a Florida team that "didnt deserve to be there."

Who said that they didn't deserve to be there?

Any Big 10 fan.

I'm a Big Ten fan and I never said that Florida didn't deserve to be there.

Oh, well, any Big 10 fan except you. Seriously, go look at that thread.

You must have avoided the BCS selection thread then. Go dig that up and figure it out.

Go dig it up and see that I never said that Florida didn't deserve it. My arguments were FOR Michigan, not AGAINST Florida. In fact, I have said that both teams were deserving and had a legitimate argument for being there.

It was very close and anyone arguing against either team was just showing their bias.

It's starting to look like it should have been Florida vs. LSU in the national championship.

USC is pretty good, no?

I could make smiley faces too I guess. But considering LSU only lost to ranked teams to get their two losses I would have to go with them over USC.

i thought you guys didnt want the rematch (atleast michigan, osu)

top 2 teams of big 10 pretty much got exposed in the bowl games (this one so far)

This is the reason that I didn't want Florida to win. Because I knew all of the SEC rah-rahs would be thumping their chests in unison about how great the SEC is. I thought that the greatness of the SEC was its depth. Well, the SEC was 0-2 v. Wisconsin and Penn State.

What does it mean? Zero. The SEC is not better or worse than the Big Ten.

This is one game.

See, this is where I disagree. Michigan and OSU could have avoided tons of BS and stupidity if their conference had a title game. WHY don't they just add another team or two and have a championship game? That way one loss teams like Wisconsin won't get left out just because they didn't play OSU or Michigan.

I don't think Bowl Games mean much for Conference strength just like you. One year the SEC will win and one year the Big 10 will win. I look at is at what their top teams look liek down to the bottom.

Arkansas & Tennessee aren't in the top3 teams in the SEC imo. I just think the SEC is very top heavy compared to any other conference. Top 3 in the SEC for me was Florida, LSU, and Auburn. I think those 3 can match up with any team in the country. The Big games for Michigan out of conference was Notre Dame (overrated) & USC (demolished). Big games for Ohio State out of conference was Texas (overrated) & Florida (losing).

Congrats. Ark missed a FG, got screwjobbed by the refs, and lost by 3 to a one-loss (played one team) wisky team. Tenn just sucked.

To be fair, Tennessee lost on a ridiculous fumble return for a TD that was at the very least a 10 point swing (eventually lost by 10). But yah, I'm a fan of the Vols but would not consider them any better than #5 in the SEC this year.

Michigan's only two losses were against OSU and USC. Because they happened at the end of the year, they are suddenly worse than LSUs?

Not really worse, no. And I'm an LSU fan.

What's worse for you guys I think is all of the talk that you should've been in the title game and then were "exposed" by USC. That, and we never lost by that much.

On a different note, is everyone else tired of the damn Dodge truck robot commercial? I hope no one ever again buys a Dodge product. I saw that commercial 4 times in 20-30 minutes.

you're right, that definitely was the game right there. I would place them at #4-5 as well.

btw, went to Neyland for the LSU vs. UT game this year, it was awesome. People were friendly even though me and the gf were deckedout in purple&gold

Do you really want to talk about the SEC and out of conference games? LSU's best out of conference win? Florida? Auburn? Hello?

And give me a break.. Arkansas WON the SEC WEST! How are they not a top 3 team in the SEC? You listed two teams that they beat out for the West title in your post.

You guys are making this game into a statement for the SEC. It's not. The Big Ten and SEC are very evenly matched. How is that so hard to admit?

fwiw, i thought usc's demolition of michigan was worse than the loss they handed to notre dame (1 of michigans marquee win)

We're usually to friendly to everyone unless you're an Alabama fan.

That was an awesome game. To be honest the score doesn't indicate how badly LSU dominated the Vols.
