Ironically, Florida not going to national championship means that they would most likely play Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. Which should be an easy win for Florida (or any other top 15 team). So Flordia fans are demanding to play OSU--where they will get crushed, instead of hoping to be able to destroy the heavily over-rated ND.

FYI I'm a Wisconsin fan--not a Michigan fan. I have other problems with the BCS--like the #7 in BCS polls not making a BCS game. Maybe my analytical mind is messed up but I feel 5 BCS games would mean teams in 1-10 in the BCS poll would go to BCS games. But it makes much more sense if the best two teams in the nation are in your conference then you shouldn't be allowed to go the BCS game--that only seems fair .

FYI #2 If by some chance Flordia beats OSU I will glady eat humble pie along with starting a charity to send jackets to hell that recently froze over.?

Nope. I told my wife toward the end of the third quarter that I'm sure the nation has forgotten about the trophy, even though it seems to be the only football-related thought coursing through Smith's mind.

He already had an uphill battle ahead of him in the draft... now he's farked.

The whole team got complacent and lazy, and when the realized they had a fight on their hands (about 36 seconds into the first quarter), they all checked out and went home.

This wasn't even a football game... this was the Florida Gators negotiating 11 stationary pylons.

Congrats to the Gators. They were all but written off by the media as undeserving to be there and had no chance to win but here they are. I'm a UF fan and I wasn't going to run any smack before the game so I'm not going to run any now. All that needs to be said was done so on the field tonight. Period.

People are going crazy here in Knoxville...and that was the last thing I thought I'd see before I died. SEC made a huge victory over constant bias, and Florida (though I never thought I'd say this) did an outstanding job!

That was exactly what I was thinking, that OSU looked like a 7-5 team tonight at best. This game was a terrible disgrace. I'm pissed because OSU being blown out makes Michigan and the rest of the Big 10 look bad (especially with UMich's loss to USC) but on the other hand I'm happy because OSU's loss was so disgraceful that Michigan's loss in the Rose Bowl doesn't look as bad in comparison.

All in all I'm pretty disappointed in this game, it had nowhere near the excitement of last year's championship game.
