I grabbed a Dell laptop from BBuy for $299 on Thursday. Core i3 ,8GB, 1tb HD, touchscreen. No backlit keyboard, but it has BT. Was in and out in about 30 minutes. So now I have a usable machine while I wait for my renters insurance to come through.

My black friday grabs.

This for brother Microcenter had it for $69 Samsung 850 Evo 250GB

http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-I...UTF8&qid=1448689341&sr=1-1&keywords=evo+250gb

And for the old lady, got this for $169 (comes with a $70 amazon gift card, so technically for $99)

Nikon COOLPIX L840

and this for $39 at MC

I know the camera isn't really a DSLR, it's a point and shoot, but thats all she needs. She's no pro, just something for us to have good pictures with of the baby.

Meh... pretty lukewarm BF, and I don't expect CM to be any different.

$40 Intel 120GB 535 SSD (pre BF, actually)
$30 (AR) Asus BD player
$30 2X4GB G.Skill RAM set

Still on the hunt for our new dishwasher. We know which one we want, just got to figure out where we're getting it from.

A tip for that is that when you forward your mail you get a 10% off Lowes coupon. People sell them online pretty cheap too.

- Linux Intel compute stick for $74 (with shipping). I needed something to replace my laptop for TV recording.

- 5TB external HDD for $110. Might also take it apart and use it as an internal HDD - haven't decided yet.

Also got [thread=2455326]a $200 DSLR earlier[/thread].

I made out well this year.
I got three Droid Turbo 2's for $124 ($500 off) from Verizon, while trading in 5 year-old smart phones.
I got a Bob jogging stroller new, for less than a used one I was about to buy ($140 off). Got this from Amazon, after seeing it in the Target Ad.
I got a new shop-vac from Lowe's (it was $60 off, but it was $30 less than one I would've bought if not for the sell).
I also always buy a handful of movies from BB every year and some flash memory (usually a bit cheaper at BB on BF then online).

First year in a while I've gotten anything but movies. I still can't believe the phone deals.

I personally love shopping on BF, if you go an hour or two after the stores open the lines move crazy quick since they are setup for the big crowd. Stores this year were less crowded than a normal saturday in the holiday season, though we were having freezing rain.

ended up buying the Nvidia Shield from Amazon... $50 off, plus a free remote control ($50 value).

it's going to be a sorta-gift for my boyfriend (obviously not his entire gift, since it's a half-purchase for myself). he's expressed interested in getting one to play Android games on and so that we can have a single box to handle both Chromecast (which we use during parties) and Netflix/Hulu (currently use smart TV apps, but he hates how clunky they are).

half-gift for myself, since I want to try out the PC game streaming functionality (although, gift I need to upgrade the video card on my desktop)

Got one I wasn't expecting, an outdoor pizza oven. Not much of a BF steal since it's been on sale for awhile, but it's usually not a product available in-store, yet they had it at Home Depot when I was browsing through today, so it turned into an impulse buy Same price at Amazon, $169:

http://www.amazon.com/Pizzacraft-PizzaQue-PC6500-Outdoor-Pizza/dp/B00FYO368K/

Works awesome! Easily hit 700F. Used Todd English's dough recipe:

http://www.toddenglish.com/Recipes/Pizza/pizzadough_card.html

It's a bit of an odd duck because it uses propane for heat (not wood) & only makes 12" or 13" pizzas, but it does an excellent job at it. Super-fast 15 minute preheat time & 7 minutes per pizza (rotate once halfway through). Did 4 pizzas on it tonight, sooooo good, nice crispy crust. I'll post a separate thread if anyone is interested in one.

I was at home depot yesterday and those are marked down 50% off I think it was. Might want to look.

Below is my haul between BF and CM. Current Amazon price in parenthesis.

-$79 Instant Pot DUO60 ($105)
-$25 Sandisk Ultra USB 3.0 128GB Flash Drive (it's the fastest one I have ever had and its that hot price still right now on Amazon- $120 on Best Buy.com)
-$100 iTunes value for $80
-$80 off a $330 gift order at Anthropologie
-$120 for a Toshiba X300 4TB HD ($150)
-$50 for a Cuisinart SS-700 Single Serve Keurig machine ($130)
-$8 Aukey Quick Charge 2.0 Car charger ($15.65)
-$7 Lunch bag with my favorite team's logo ($11)
-a few consumable items like chocolates and hemp seeds for cheap

Not a bad haul, but the sales were so-so this year. It has almost run its course, consumers are too conditioned to expect a "deal" on Black Friday even when there isn't one.

- Amazon Fire TV Stick @ $25
- Amazon Fire Tablet @ $35
- Amazon Paperwhite @ $50
- Northface Parka @ $80
- Digital Timer Crockpot @ $12
- Assorted kitchen utensils
- 2 x Contigo Thermal Mugs @ $12 total
- Set (20 & 24") of Hard shell Samsonite suitcases @ $80
- 2 x 16x20 Canvas Prints @ $35

Also noteworthy... a local Sports Authority back home is going out of business. They had signs on the door saying they weren't participating in any Black Friday deals, but the liquidation prices were crazy. Ended up buying a bunch of shirts, shorts, pants, and a few jackets for me and the lady. Total was about $180.

All in all, a good run.

Ahh .... black Friday ... the day companies reduce prices on products that should have been reduced months ago.
