I like it. A lot. Strictly from an aesthetic standpoint I still like the E46 better, but this is the nicest new-look BMW IMO. The "ordinary" 3-series coupe is also nice.

I agree, I like the E46 M3 better. Though I am still amazed at the power band of this new engine.

The car has grown on me big time. With my first glimpse at the concept I wasn?t exactly overwhelmed with its appearance, but now I very much like its new appearance.

Although IMO it still doesn?t look as aggressive as the E46 M3/M3 CSL did.

Also, I can?t say I?ve really ever liked a BMW in red, especially this one.

That bump is there because of the V8.

Boy, I don't get this post at all. As far as I'm concerned the 3-series sedan looks like a Pontiac (not a good thing in my book), whereas the coupe looks really good.

IMO the current BMWs fall out in the following order, from best to worst:

1) 3-series coupe
2) Z4 coupe
3) Z4 roadster
4) "old" X5 (haven't really studied the new one)
5) 3-series sedan
6) 5-series (M5 is somewhat better than the other 5-series, but still ugly)
7) 6-series
8) 7-series
9) X3 (what an eyesore this thing is - one of the ugliest vehicles on the road IMO)

omg, we have teh exact same taste! well, except the X3, I kinda like it.
imo, the Z4 Coupe is a piece of art.

Are you one of those people that jumped on the bandwagon of hating bimmers? I really dont see how anyone can not like the way the new coupe looks. But, I guess everyone has their own opinion/taste.

kind of fugly almost looks like a pontiac from the side. BMW should look back on their 90s designs for inspiration and not mr Bangle Butt or whatever.

No I actually like most BMW's. I just don't like the look of that coupe. To me, it appears unbalanced and sorta bland. To each his own i guess.
