Official Braves vs Cubs thread

This can't be the Braves year... the Cubs winning would be a great story, the Giants winning would be a great story (cuz of Bonds emotional stuff this year), the Marlins, wow that would be just weird...

Heh I figured it would be the obvious choice to play prior next game. He could probably win at Atlanta like Wood did. I dont really know too much about Zabrano as I dont have time to watch the games.

as far as I'm concerned, the Braves already won by not letting the Cubs fans celebrate at Wrigley They can lose the next game for all I care, their hitting this postseason seems even worse then years past. Livan Hernandez, with the Marlins and the Giants, Kerry Wood, Kevin Brown, Mark Prior, every power pitcher out there seems to have an incredible game against the Braves at some point in their career, no matter how good the hitting is.

I was there. The crowd went f'ing nuts. Probably the best game I've ever seen, at least crowd-energy wise. A GREAT game.

How loud was it?

Not a rock concert, but very loud. The most amazing moment of the game was Simon's double. The crowd was getting pretty irrascible, (honestly I think the bleachers expanded to about 70-75% of the field), but when Simon hit the scored the crowd was on it's feet and there wasn't a silent voice in the stadium. I'm still warm and fuzzy.
