Anand has said on twitter that he won't sleep until its done, so I expect it sometime this evening as well.

You have to admit one thing, while Intel releases are less frustrating (you usually know what you're getting before the final benches are released) AMD's releases are much more exciting, if only because we have no real idea wtf it is going to be...

You have to admit one thing, while Intel releases are less frustrating (you usually know what you're getting before the final benches are released) AMD's releases are much more exciting, if only because we have no real idea wtf it is going to be...

AMD releases always have a story, a drama, a (long) period of build up (ie. delays), and the inevitable disappointment, as well as the promise of redemption on the horizon.

Im excited Maybe it will go against everything seen thus far and be the best CPU ever made going down in the history books as the turning point for AMD.

Somehow, have been getting the distinct impression that reviewers under NDA have better drivers/bios updates than we realize. Would fit with the delay on shipments. Going to have to stay up now and check the different reviews and trusted opinions.

If it is fail, I would like to see some sort of AMD engineer interview where they ask what went wrong...

I hope by the end of this we don't just get confirmation of the latest leaks (out for a while now) and are still stuck with questions (such as dirk being let go, is there a bug, why not shrink thuban and overclock, etc)

LOL. I can imagine one of those old school anonymous interviews with pixelated whistleblowers sitting in front of a dark background with altered voices.
