i'm sorry. It just struck me as funny. That's all.Well if you had sent me a PM or something saying you had a review... I had no idea.
i have never asked for my reviews to be listed in any thread. It isn't good etiquette imo. If someone finds and posts it, however, that is fine with me.
My review was a day late and not too many people saw it as we missed the big traffic crunch (i got up a Summary Chart) the next morning. i was under severe time pressure with two defective AM3+ MBs and had only 4 days to do the testing and the writing.
Anyway, the important part of the review - and the conclusion - comes from me next week - after i finish overclocked testing with HD 6970 CF and X3 TriFire as well as GTX 580/580SLI. And then i put FX-8150 under water.
i will say one thing; once it is overclocked, CrossFire scales nicely again. i think AMD mostly missed higher clocks as their main target; if FX 8150 came out at 4.2GHz as a base (w/turbo to 4.8GHz), it would not have been received so negatively
BtW, that list isn't "official", i believe it is Peter Amos' blog on AMD
