He did much better. Both reran a lot of contant from last week. I think Kerry did a bit better on the substance of a couple of his arguments, but the improvement factor might mean this is a win for Bush.

NPR, too, thinks Bush pulled an even break. They keep saying "He did much better than the last debate"....well, if THIS was better than the last debate (interupting the mod, cutting off Kerry, etc)....gosh, I'm glad I missed the first one.

I say Kerry won this one. He got more undecideds and he got the base strengthened. Bush of course performed better than last time but if he didn't he would've lost definitely. His jokes were crewd and sometimes downright silly. Especially the wood comment. Kerry knew more about Bush's income than Bush.

Look, the fox poll no longer shows the number of respondants. Last week at one point I noted it was like 1/20th the number on CNN.

I'd call it for Kerry. Both of them fumbled through the first third, really pitiful. Then Kerry started coming on strong, and Bush started losing it. Bush really looked bad at that point; it will be worse when the media and Dems package the most damaging clips together. It will be great fodder for aspiring Michael Moores.

Bush finally calmed himself down by the last third of the debate. Kerry continued to do well -- most of the time -- but he missed good opportunities to really hammer some of Bush's distortions and evasions. All in all, it will help Kerry somewhat, but it wasn't a knock-out.

bullfvckingshit on abortion. Bush does not care about the life of the mother when partial birth abortion is NECESSARY to save the mother/wive/girlfriend/women.

With that said, the debate was pretty even style wise but substance wise i'd say kerry was a lot better in terms of domestic issues. Iraq was even.
