ty for the pics Walleye. looks rough. its kind of sad seeing the city i was raised my whole life in and love going up in flames, literally. hope everything gets contained in a quick and efficient manner, and that casualties are to cease. off work tomorrow, so i dont have to drive down tomorrow, but ill guess ill be seeing the after-effects tuesday. once again, thanks for the pics.

bout 4 miles.

like i said, i went on a driving spree around poway.

it's going down fast, some of those are about 2 hours old. i came back an hour later and the entire center one had been put out, and the other 2 were going down. it's the glow behind the center hill was some house going up, but that's only 1 house, and listening to the news, only 1 house. the 2 others there were saved.

on top of one of the big hills is a big gigantic house that's been burning RAGING for a long time. it was raging when i came there first, and when i came back.

so they're going down. i'm not too worried as it is now. most of poway is okay, i dont think much of the domestic will be affected. some houses went up, and that's sad for those people ..


but all in all, i wanna say VERY VERY good job fire department! the fire arm of the fire that was my biggest worry has been put out completely i it looks like there's still a lot more to do, but it looks at least to me like the FD is winning.
