Kind of a tasteless joke.

No doubt...
Wonder what will happen if the winds kick up again in the early morning like they are predicting.

If you notice in pic #00060 , that wall of flame going towards the tree. By the time it got to the bottom of the tree, people had put it out to just embers. These were just volunteers off the streets coming together to help out the people in a row of house near by. Retarded thing is, as we were leaving, the police were telling everyone to leave. I am almost positive these people saved at least 1 house, if not saved, at least stalled the fire until the firefighters got there. Damn cops don't know WTF they are talking about, they sounded surpirsed that there were people right up against the fire with hoses...as if they would watch their fvcking house burn down.

Hey, Mike, be careful out there! Looks like you're kinda close! Thanks for the pics, by the way; my wife's in Arizona and I sent her this thread so she could see what's going on.
And be nice to the cops - they're just trying to protect people from themselves. They aren't professional firefighters and could get injured or killed - and I don't disagree with them trying to protect their stuff, either; the cops are just trying to keep them from getting in too deep.
