I have a question about the use of the Mothers' California Clay Bar System.
Is the correct process to use it?
Wash --> apply Clay Bar --> Polish --> Wax? Or should I skip the polish part?
Also, anyone use Meguair's Swirl Remover? Does it actually work?

Zaino's not bad at all, but Meguire's Gold Class just sucks...seems like it's entirely gone in 2 weeks.

Zaino's is too expensive and too much of a pain in the ass. Meguiar's is easy to use and provides an excellent finish. Just because one elitist website or a bunch of snobby forum whores say differently isn't going to change my mind.
Check out this pic of my 5-year-old '98 Integra GSR. Meguiar's was the only wax ever used on it. Link I took this pic right after taking it through an automated car wash (car was dry though), and it had been 6 winter months since the last time it had been waxed. That side of the car is in shadow, and you can still see in the paint a reflection of me taking the pic from 12 feet away.
Or check out my new WRX in my sig. That pic was taken minutes after I got the windows tinted, it had been 3-4 weeks since the one and only time I had yet waxed it, and I had run it through an automated car wash 3 hours before.

order here - i mailed them a check & received the product in 7 or 8 days
supposed to last about 6 months i think as long as you wash it every few weeks with their car wash stuff
Yeah. We have a chain of automated car washes here in the area that are top-quality brushless, mild detergent, no high-pressure spray and manufacturer recommended. (found the link) Works fine (misses the occassional spot but hand-detailing fixes that) and only $6 bucks. Did you know that most professional auto detailers don't wash your car by hand but take it to a high-quality auto wash instead before detailing it? It's faster and easier, doesn't harm the finish, doesn't leave swirl marks, and the blow drying process means no water spots.Originally posted by: rubenswm

Was there a big improvement after the second coat of Z2, lizardboy? Thinking about doing the same myself.
