I want to preface this by saying I am a die hard Laker fan since I was a wee lad and maybe I was wearing Laker glasses during the game. BUT... Shaq: 18 FGA, 1 FTA. The man made most of his shots on dunks but he was fouled on quite a number of them.
True, the refs seemed to pocket their whistles a few times. Thats prolly 'home court advantage' bias.
Vlade: Aside from the flops which I can deal with since it's become part of the game, for better or worse, every time he sets a pick for Bibby high post, he moves. Moving picks are illegal.
Speaking of Rick Fox,....
Webber: Moving pick to free Bibby for the game winning shot. Fisher's flop didn't help matters.
Exactly, 'speaking of flops'....
Webber didn't step out tho, he was stepping forward toward fish. Not 'much' of an illegal pick, but either way, Fish wasn't gonna get around him anyways.
Stern: Flat out said to the Sacramento NBC sportscaster that it is in the NBA's best interest to have series go 6 games or longer.
Darn right it is, thats only being honest. Does that mean the refs are tilting the game because of it? No, because its tied 2-2, somebody's got to win.
Truth is the lakers svcked as a team the whole series. Samaki Walker isn't cutting it. Everyone's 3pt shooting is horrendous, prolly because they have to exhaust themselves on the defensive end more than they've had to in a long time. I'd hate to see a team thats playing that poorly advance, even though shaqs doing awesome.
Two words, and I've said 'em b4: Mike Bibby
