yeah, they could have this instead for the end fight:
-Deadpool walks up to bad guy's liar w/bag full of guns/ammo.
-cut to white board saying "1hr later" then show scene full of dead red shirts and bad guy badly beaten up.
-deadpool standing over him w/girl in his arms.

then deadpool starts a monologue then 1/2 way thru he says 'nah' and just shoots him.

yes, that would be a better ending.

Only a retard would think that's a better ending. Oh wait...

Keep in mind these 3 aren't usually aren't very into action movies.

The review said something to the effect that this movie reminds people about the absence of blood and such from other similar movies.
I've seen a few of those PG-13 movies: Iron Man 3, Hellboy I and II, and a (very) small number of similar ones.
It's like there's someone watching beside you: "Yes, the building fell down and lots of pieces of the structure are falling down all throughout the crowd, but don't worry, kids! Everyone's ok! It's all gonna be fine! And it'll be a happy ending, too. Movies like this are more profitable when everything turns out good and triumphant in the end."
Or if there is a death, it's cartoony or unrealistic, or is merely implied and takes place off-camera.
(A fairly nasty beating on-screen though? That's fine.)

(Something else that takes me out of a movie: Big explosions or fire, and if you're not actually in the fire, you're perfectly fine. Ever sit close to a campfire? Radiant heat is in fact a real thing.)

Agreed. He's traditionally a good two-shoes, so he made an excellent foil (and quasi angel-on-the-shoulders) to Deadpool.

You can't talk about what you pirated (unless there is a specific reason that it was necessary other than bragging) and you can't talk about ongoing pirating activities.

I thought the humor was a little too.....lowest common denominator. Like I half expected Larry the Cable guy to pop in and drop a line or two. Just too many one-off dick jokes, with too few jokes that needed a proper setup (like the "something in your teeth" thing, I loved that).

But, seeing how making an R rated comic book movie was a huge risk, I see why they did it. And there was enough good jokes about the industry and comic book movies in general to make it worth watching.

Fox finally has something going good with the X Men franchise. I have high hopes for the Apocalypse movie now, even if they TOTALLY fucked up his voice.
