Hey Dredd feel free to add me (patentman) if you need some more peeps. I've done a good bit of the raid but the PUGs I am with keep getting stuck at the Warpriest. We are already friends on PSN so if you see me online (mostly at night) then just give me a buzz.

I am currently at 304 light and will probably do a bunch of strikes and hunting taken champions tonight to get some exotics. Hoping for some more 310 stuff to infuse or use.

Well yes and no. What I mean is you can enter at mid 280s and make it through the totem door encounter with a good group if you can stay alive. The bosses really do require 290 to do adequate damage. You are on a timer and you only get so many turns before you either kill it or you wipe.

What some people have done is enter at around 286+ and hope for a ghost shell from the first chest after completing the totem door. That is sometimes enough to bump you up in light level for the bosses. If you have a super group you can be sherpa'd through war priest but beyond that you need to be able to hold your own damage wise. So what I ended up doing is court of oryx and strikes to get a bunch of blue and purple gear to use for infusions or to wear. Ended up at 297 from that alone.

If you need help with anything on the ps4 version I am willing to do what I can to get you up to speed. I can help you hunt calcified fragments, quests, court of oryx, missions, strikes etc. just send a message or a party chat invite so I know what's going on. This applies to anyone playing Destiny on ps4. I actually don't mind running through stuff I have done before when there is someone else there as well. It's a much more enjoyable game with a friend or two, even if you are just doing random quests and patrols. Every enemy is a chance for engrams and every ultra I kill with a 3oC is a chance for an exotic anyway.

I just hit level 40 two weeks ago on the Xbox One and yesterday I returned it for a PS4...so need to start fresh again and not sure I will be able to do it lol...

But the game is great though, there's just so much freaking kids calling you newb because you're not level 40 it's annoying as hell.

Who plays on the PS4 here? I could try to level more seriously and get to 40 asap...

I had a Warlock on X1 but I think i'm gonna level a Titan from scratch and use the free level 25 on a Warlock. how's the Titan?

Titan is very good IMO. I play Warlock but Titan would be my second choice. Sunbreaker and Defender are both really good. Defender especially for Weapons of Light and Blessing of light in specific situations.

There's quite a few of us here who are on Destiny PS4. Anubis, Myself, Rage187, Qbah, Metaphors, Sho'Nuff are on PS4 just off the top of my head.

My team took seemingly forever today. Things just didn't go right the whole way through starting with people not calling out rotation on totems and losing brand. It didn't help that Oryx seemed to glitch for us this time. Ogres facing the wall so you can't stagger, sprinting to the center so they die on the middle path and block the way because bombs would detonate, bombs doing no damage, people jumping to avoid damage on the platform and causing the relic runner to fall. Eventually got it but man it was annoying sometimes lol.

I got boots and gloves yesterday. And the shotty Also got a 310 Zhao Supercell!!! :awe: Hit 300 before the raid and had a few engrams in the bank waiting for that moment - got a 310 Zhao Supercell, 310 Jade Rabbit, 290 titan striker helm and a 290 Invective (third one... in a row!). Also a 290 Alpha Lupi chest.

Still need the ghost and mark from the raid, helm, some other weapons for fun... and finish the other quests Weeks and weeks of fun playtime ahead for me still!

I'm missing one calcified fragment though for Touch of Malice... I'm at 44 and only miss Court of Oryx T3 fragments... Picked up everything else that's known.

EDIT: Also almost done with my exotic sword quest. Waiting for armsday (today) and then a Sunless Cell strike (need some help) and I got it too!

Anubis, it took me 2 hours to get all the mats and kills. But I got it done.

not looking forward to doing it 2 more times for the other element swords

Arc a stormcaller lock
and void I guess either a void lock or night stalker hunter

for the kills portion

It took me less time to kill stuff than to find the drops. I was running around the Moon's first zone and one-shotting the dregs with my titan's solar melee (no charge used). And shoot+hit vandals. And running between the helium spawn points. I found 5/10 drops while going from 0 to 100% kills just from melee... That was super boring D:

Doing that quest line for sleeper stimulant was pretty annoying. Waiting around for warsat events is not fun.

I hoped around looking for warsats for like 2 hours last night, found 0, shit only 2 events even closely matched their timers on the pub events site and they were both drop crews

I managed to do the warsat part in about an hour and a half but I think I was lucky. Today the second part unlocks and you need to do the saber 2 strike at light level 280.

It's only 290 so I'll have to infuse it up.

Got the solar exotic sword. Working the void one now. Already done with the multiplayer portion. Should finish it all tomorrow night. Will be infusing the solar into something else.

That last mission for the Sleeper Simulant was hard Especially the warsat part... I think we managed to get it on 5th try with cmrddredd and Rage187, the key was to stay close to the warsat to load it as fast as possible, before the mobs overwhelm us (we tried taking it "slow" at first and kill everything). The giant shank was also hard, but I think warsat was harder. Thanks for the fun quest though! Now time for my solar sword and last calficied fragment (uhh... need an antiquiated rune).

It hardly sucks. Hit the lv3 court ogre for 100k with simulant. Everything is situational now and it is built for burst damage. It is really good for bosses.
