Hit 292 last night. I am finishing up some patrol quests and need to run a nightfall but can't solo it yet. Heroic quests are not bad though now.

Dumb question. Do things get progressively easier for each light level you go up, or is there a huge jump from like 289 to 290 and 299 to 300, etc. I mean, when you hit pre defined "next" levels, is there a switch that automatically makes things much easier or is it just a gradual improvement?

I use a scout rifle personally, but the reporting is all messed up. Instead of total kills, it should be total damage.

Dammit, that freaking Titan quest where you have to create 7 Orbs 3 Times in a Strike...that's a f'in PITA.

What's the best place to do this? Devil's Lair, Will of Crota or The Nexus?

And how to do it when the 3rd member or your Fireteam is a random player you can't communicate with?

Yeah that was annoying and sadly probably not worth it in the end. However I believe I completed that on nexus or some Venus strike. Try to get them as they spawn. I can't remember how I set up my character but may also have been easier to use those arching abilities. It's been about 2 months now since I've been in destiny.

Pulse rifles for me as I find they tend to do a nice damage to ammo ratio. Then some tertiary or ability moves for mobs or hard enemies.

Now I don't know if they've worked on this or not(not seen anything related), but since ttk it hasn't really been worth doing poe apart from the base one with matchmaking.

Having technical issues. Xbox one #1 is my main system. I bought destiny TTK on there and redeemed the code and can play fine.

Today I bought Xbox one #2 and signed in with my account. I also bought a used copy of Destiny since I already have TTK DLC downloaded through the code I redeemed back when it came out on Xbox one #1.

Problem is, How can I get that DLC downloaded to this new xbox? I am homesharing and am logging into my LIVE account so in theory, since I have the original disk in the drive, I should be able to download the DLC as well to my new xbox and play it. But, its not working and I would like to know if there is a work around before I shell out $40.00 for the DLC again on the same LIVE account. When I log into destiny on the new xbox, it tells me I need to pay for TTK again. ugh.

EDIT. After talking it through with a colleague, I bet my son installed the game under his ID instead of mine. I'm going to have him log into the new xbox tonight and see if he can download the DLC to it. Then I'll set the new xbox as his "home" one, my old one will be my "home" one, and it should all work out.

Have to say that having "Sherpas" in the raid did the trick. There were 4 of us 290s being handheld throughout the King's fall raid by 2 314 guys and it did take us about 3 hours to complete it all. Quite fun though as you figure out what you are good at and what ur not. The jumping parts were always a challenge for me....

If your group has ToMs, then daughters is super easy. Wrecks them quick.

Of course you still need to have a decent runner and teammates who will kill adds and not die from mobs as well.

The daughters I believe is the more difficult part if not the most stressful. Hate being torn as everything hangs on u. One slip and its wipe time. Last night, I did it fine with my titan but was blown clear across the map after I slammed one of them girls. Almost killed the whole team as I took too much time getting to the platform.

Can you still share Xbox Live or do you and your son need seperate live gold membership to play online at the same time?

Zero problems with one live gold account. My first xbox one is the main xbox I have set up as my "home" xbox. The second xbox is the one I use when I game and I log in as myself to play destiny. Anyone logging into my "home" xbox gets to use the live service and since I log into the second one as myself, I also get to use the live service.

one live gold account, both xboxes can use it at the same time.

This is why it is easiest to gather in the middle of the pathway toward the back or front of the map rather than the platform/ledge. If you get bumped off it is quicker to run to the group on the ground. I have never failed this way, ever.

Just remember counter clockwise and start from the furthest Platform from the relic. As long as everyone jumps on in order it's cake. On daughters I find it easiest to not kill the first one right away. Get it down to 10% or so and then kill the adds. Second run kill the second daughter and then the third run the first one with 10% health should go down in seconds.

As long as everyone jumps on in order it's cake. On daughters I find it easiest to not kill the first one right away. Get it down to 10% or so and then kill the adds. Second run kill the second daughter and then the third run the first one with 10% health should go down in seconds. I have gotten pushed off the platform after slamming the shield down and everyone died from adds for some reason as I was running back. I ended up soloing the final 10% no problem. Touch of malice helps tremendously, if you don't have it, get it. It's the best weapon against daughters and oryx.

I am only 314 with my best stuff on but that's because I gave up on the game. Grinding the same stuff over and over hoping for the right drops got old (again). I still have the game digitally and am willing to hop on if you want to get something done.

Completed my first nightfall (alak hul) and it wasn't too bad. I am now waiting also for the gunsmith to get my order in so I can get the upgraded blade. Farmed stupid flares in the helium piles for the better part of 7 hours this weekend.

the slamming you across the map happens because you are too close to her when you smash

you want to be right on the edge, should not happen then

you should have no issues @ 305 for everything besides oryx

most of us were sub 310 the first time we did oryx, sure its easier above that but 305 is fine for the first bosses

my PSN is Sibuna2, all 3 of my toons can get to 318/319, I can hop on and help with some things from time to time

Waiting on the shipment of goods to the gunsmith so I can finish the sword quest. Also got the suros regime from a drop and its been fun to use in PVP.

Huge thank you to Alamat who helped my son and I get our exotic swords last night by killing Alak-hul and his cronies at the sunless cell 300 level.

Looking forward to trying a kings fall raid anytime. I have a couple friends I can invite also if we need more.

Think I'm the only one reading this anymore, but I'm now LL 302 and have the ToM and having fun. Everywhere I read I see that people are leaving Destiny due to lack of updates and everything, but I want to get to where I can run TKK end content consistently in a couple hours and then try heroic mode and see how that goes.

Alamat has been a huge help getting my son and I into end content and helping me in general. Thanks so much!
