I did see one of the rewards say "powerful gear" for one of the milestones.

yea those can go higher than 265

blue cap is 260
vendor legendary cap is 265

both of those will change based on your light. im 270 and get blues up to 263

im gonna guess at 280 or so blues will go into the 270s

had fun with it last night... level 19. is there actually something to do at the farm when I reach 20 or am I missing something?

a few public events were pretty damn fun! accidentally dismantled a few good guns I didn't want to lose though... opps

When you hit 20 every new level gives a bright engram you can redeem from Amanda Holliday. Also the vanguard NPCs offer some rewards for various things as well as the gunsmith. There's not much else going on there, it's just the tower of destiny 2.

Just read about the guided raid stuff and it seems like it'll work provided people are actually willing to shop out for an extra player.

I just read up on that too. It's something that will definitely benefit me since it's always been hard for me to find people to play with.

yea after hitting 20 all sorts of stuff unlocked so I was able to utilize some of the stuff at the farm that was previously open but I couldn't really access. sounds like there will be plenty of stuff to do with the game in the coming weeks so I'm happy. can't wait to team up and do some of the strikes

Speaking of strikes I did two of them and they were pretty long longer than I remember some of the ones from the first game being. Lots of running from spot to spot before the boss and one of them, the gate lord vex one had energy beams blocking doorways and paths that drop down and they move so you have to time it so you don't hit them, if you do it's almost certainly a death. So annoying lol.

Also is it really a thing where people sit on their sparrow and don't fight? Some guy did that last night and didn't help until you were forced off which was more than half way. Very annoying.

haven't encountered that yet, but once I did unlock the sparrow I totally cruised around IO and ignored pretty much every battle because I was trying to find the biggest jumps haha

Lol yeah I wish the sparrow had jump trucks like that one special one in the first game. Maybe they'll bring that back

Edit: maybe I'm dumb or something but when you talk to commander Zavala and he wants tactician tokens it says you can get them from completing strikes and challenges but after going to a planet and doing the challenges I don't get any and the bar doesn't move. So...is it wrong and only strikes or what?

Yeah after a specific story section you unlock more stuff like patrols and strikes

Finally lvl 20 and finally got a freaking sparrow. Makes traveling so much less of a headache. You need sparrows more in this than part one.

Finished the vault mission on Nessus and was then able to do a few strikes, including the one that was in the beta/demo. Great fun. I know I'm a bit of a fanboy but I think this game's phenomenal... something for everyone and it builds upon the first. It's not perfect, nor is it anything super revolutionary but it's a damn good time. Should only get better as more people pick it up and new events and activities get added. Hopefully I'm around to do some of the nightfall strikes and if there's more of those six-player fire team missions that would be cool too.

The new ghost voice is a little tiresome though... like trying wayyy too hard to be funny. I liked PD better but new guy works I suppose.

I will say, I still prefer Dinklebot. He just had shitty lines.

See it's funny you guys say you prefer Dinklage because the number of complaints about how bad it was got out of hand back in the early days of destiny 1. I don't mind the new voice for the ghost and I think the interactions with sarcastic NPCs is great.

His lines/script just sucked, his voice is always great.

Maybe it's me but I think the new tower while bigger, just has too much empty space.
