The story and beacon missions can be done by yourself in each of the 4 or 5 planets. Only raids and strikes require a group and you get put in one if you don't get a group together anyway.
It's an FPSMMO and has been touted as such for awhile....
Yeah and anyone who had the opportunity should have tried the beta. Then they would know what they are getting(or not getting). I personally played about 12 hours solo in the beta and never felt bored or anything. I was mostly glimmer and cryptarch farming. Nope you can change your subclass at any point. Even in a fire fight if you want. But all your ability cooldowns reset.Oh and question, are you locked into your subclass? Meaning if you want to try Sunsinger on warlock at lv15 are you locked into sunsinger or can you go back to voidwalker for times when you want those abilities?

The guy at work who didnt buy destiny didnt really wanna buy my second copy of the game that came with my console for $40 so i just traded it in at GameStop and put it toward my sunset overdrive xb1 bundle pre-order. They gave me $43.50 for it. Not bad IMO.

That's not too bad. Nice looking armor too. I am almost level 4 lol, but I'm sure it'll go a lot faster once I can do explore because if I remember right, going to explore and going vanguard bounties and the side missions and turning in the spinmetal and such really boosted your xp gain.
I died a lot more in this one than the beta lol. Especially on the second or third mission. Finally got to level four and now I can do some patrol missions. Still have yet to explore the vanguard stuff too. Where do I get the weapons that came with the vanguard armory pre order code ? I didn't see that armory anywhere. Is it still in the hanger?
I see, since I'm still early in the game I'll get to level 5 before attempting the level 4 story mission.
Did the same thing, working on lv6 now. I decided that I wanted to level more before diving into the story full speed. I'll do it but I'm going to try to stay a level ahead until I get to the higher levels anyway.
It's MUCH easier to do the missions when you are on level, or 1 level above recommended level. I was just rushing through all the story missions and did a few of them 1 or 2 levels too low, and while they aren't impossible, they are much more difficult.
I'm more interested in finding better gear too. Also, in old Russia, I went into that one small cave by the cosmodrome tower and there is a guy with ??? Above his head. I wonder if their levels will be reveled once you max out.
Yeah there are some enemies that check as ??? but are level 11 when you get to a higher level.
I'm not seeing nearly as many encrypted engrams drop. They must have reduced those way down.
I noticed that too. Only got two so far from a mission.
