They always topped at 323, or 328. It was the most powerful weapon in the game. But, my Bad Juju tops at 331 now. I thought it was getting an upgrade to like 348 or something, similar to how other exotics got a jump.

Perhaps, it is trade in only and the new version doesn't drop?

Nobody knows about the vex gun. It sits at 323 but who knows if it will get an upgrade.

There is a chest you can get in crota's end raid solo. The chest appears in the room on the left wall immediately at the beginning. Also there is a light that appears over the correct door where the chest spawns. So basically hug the left wall and one of the rooms you find will have the chest in it. The spawn is based on RNG so you may have to leave and come back a few times. It has upgrade materials, possible class armor, and chance at an exotic. People are saying they got it with lv28 characters. I'm going to try it later.

Ooo! I just might have to do this. I wonder if the hard mode will be the same? Chance at hard mode loot at 28 would be nice! I am just trying to hit 29 as quickly as possible so I can actually do the Nightfall and Weekly (though, I'm sure they are hard, considering the level 26 strike is pretty difficult compared to the others).

Did the chest on my 28 Titan. Got 2 radiant energy.

Did on my 31 and got 2 radiant shards.

You don't even fight anything. Just get to the first junction and go left and stay on the path straight right into a room. Chest not there? Wipe and repeat.

Anyone notice that the daily story gives xp at lv22 but not at 26 or 30? Do you still get xp from it or do they replace the xp with ascendent material?

I think you get ascendent material. You also get a lot of marks if you do them at the max difficulty. I just went through the quests and the raid did not unlock at lvl 26. I think you need to be 28+ or something.

I got a Time on Target from faction rank up mail. Blue quality Dark Below weapons seem to be on par with legendary vanilla weapons. I got a blue hand cannon and it has 272 base damage and 300+ when upgraded. What is kind of nice is it doesn't require many mats to max it out...

Also, the new Strike is gets hairy quick if you don't have someone dedicated to the adds.

Yes, I bought the expansion... I think the changes are nice, but I used to farm mats to get marks. Can't do that anymore. Oh well, the new lvl 26 strikes are nice.

I think you just don't get the bonus XP. You still get XP from adds and such.

Nah I have 160+ ascendent shards and probably close to that in energy. I don't need that stuff just the XP for my new gear.

OK. I am going to venture a guess that this chest holds nothing but upgrade mats on Normal but has armor/weapons on Hard.

2 shards out of the chest for me. Raid unlocked at 27. Also, the destiny event timers website is nearly spot on now. I was able to go to Earth and hit up 5+ events in an hour. I think now that I have a rhythm down I could easily do more than that. It is a bit more consistent than strike playlists. If you get one bum group, you've wasted 30 mins or so. Although I did get a ton of engrams doing the new lvl 26 playlist.

People have said they got an exoic from it but I never saw a video of that.

I know people who got a class item from it. One guy got a pretty neat warlock bond called bone circlet

I got a Dragon's Breath (new Solar Exotic Rocket Launcher) from the first Crota chest on the left when you drop down. I don't have a picture, but I really have no reason to lie. My fireteam was pretty pissed at me lol.

I also got a new legendary class item on another character and Radiant Shards as well.
