Watch some gameplay videos of each and read up on abilities. I can't speak on warlock because I don't play one, but between my hunter and titan, I prefer my titan. I like the AoE kill of striker, but mostly the buffs and bubble I can help my team with using defender.
That sounds boring as hell.
I like hunter too, but prefer titan. Damage dealing is equal, I feel I survive just a tiny bit better with titan (but still relatively equal), I just prefer the play style of titan defender a bit more.I've been enjoying them both but I'm only like level 6 maybe. Unfortunately I've not gotten to play very much this past week. Hopefully I can get in a little more time this weekend and make a decision.
Do you not like your hunter?

New cheeses out for Crota:
Lamps, you can double jump to the platform.
Bridge, you can despawn all the adds by jumping above a door
Crota, DoTs stick after someone disconnects.
That last one, or all of them for that matter, are just dumb at this point. CE is easy and straight forward.
I am not sure I understand the last one. Do you mean if someone hits him with scorch for example and then disconnects themselves to come back, that scotch will last forever?
Get him to a knee with a DoT, like the leftover one from a Dragons Breath, and then ANYONE can disconnect and the DoT will keep ticking away even when he gets up. I think it is lame because I'd rather set the pace of when his shield goes down based on when we have the sword and boomers are gone.
I'm a little late in the game on this because I just picked it up. It seems like a lot fun could be had with a team though. The only problem I have is I'm torn between warlock and titan!
Is there an AT group that normally gets together?
If you choose warlock, go sunsinger. If you choose Titan, level the defender subclass. These alternate subclasses should unlock at lvl 12 I believe, and are much better suited for PvE content.
I started with a Titan and then rolled a Warlock for my alt, and now both are 30+. I prefer the warlock, however the defender titan is arguably more helpful for the team due to weapons of light (buffs damage output 30% for 15 secs), and blessing of light (gives players a shield for 15 seconds).
I've noticed that groups tend to take the defender titan for granted until they don't have one.
For finding players, take advantage of desintylfg.net. I used it to get a fantastic raid group together last night. It is luck of the draw, but I've had tons of good experiences and only a few bad ones.
Yeah, I get why people do it. Doesn't change my opinion that that's absurdly boring. What's pitiful though are the guys who create a character, level it, run the raid for gear, delete character, recreate, rinse and repeat. What a colossal waste of time. It's smart...raid drops are class specific so you don't have to get three different sets. Then when you get armor you can swap it between characters and that allows you to level it via bounties on more than one character. What's boring is repeating the same strikes over and over because you have multiple classes to get geared up and you can't just swap your armor over and level it. I would rather get one set than have to hunt for three. The game is repetitive enough that I would rather avoid doing the same stuff as much as possible.

What difference does it make to you? I would never do it because i dont have that kind of time but because bungie trolls us 24/7 I understand why someone wants to multiply loot chances.

Uhhh who said it had to mean a damn thing dude? I'm sharing my opinion. Someone new to the game asked for advice. I offered mine, and expanded on it... with my opinion. If you don't, in my opinion, waste your time that way, then my opinion doesn't apply to you, obviously. So what difference does my opinion make to you? Like I said, I get the reason why... still stupid though.

Nightfall on the titan and I got IB! Not bad. Still hope for a Gjal on the next character!
That sounds boring as hell.

You called it pitiful. It really isn't for someone who just wants to max out. Now you call it stupid, or are you calling them stupid? People who play the game to get loot (that's the whole point of the game) will do what it takes to get the stuff they want. Someone may even argue that because they have the time and it doesn't take that long anyway they are just beating bungie at their own game by maximizing their opportunity for loot rather than having to wait weeks. If I was in school but had the summer off and nothing to do I might think about doing something like this.
Your argument is no better than "you wasted your money". It's not your money so leave them alone and let them do what they want. Similarly it's not your time being wasted so leave them alone and let them play the game how they want.
Oh jeez. Let's clear this up, since my opinion seems to be so troublesome to you. This
refers to rolling 3 identical characters for more loot. That activity, in my opinion, is boring.
This
refers to leveling a character to raid eligibility over and over again in the same week for more loot. That activity is pitiful, in my opinion, because Bungie is ramming them up the ass with RNG 9 times out of 10 anyway (proven and experienced by all of us, hence the need for people doing boring, pitiful activities...in my opinion). Why do I feel this way? Simply because I can. I have no personal opinion of the people themselves. My opinion concerns the act of leveling and re-leveling the same thing over and over and over.
So you're trying to invalidate my opinion? Lol. Your small wall of defensive text acts as if I'm stating my opinion as fact. Your small wall of defensive text is also an opinion, and I n my opinion, you're defensive as hell over something that doesn't even apply to you. In my opinion, I thought your uber defensive days in the Destiny thread were over.
Seriously, why so serious? ITS JUST AN OPINION.
Cause you're hating on how people play. If you want a real opinion, what you are doing is pretty pathetic. If someone gets enjoyment out of trying to max out quickly, I say go for it. No reason to express your distate of it.
Is the weekly Nightfall extremely hard? I'm lvl 29 now, and by tomorrow I should be 30 (30 more vanguard marks and 4 more Ascendant Shards) should put me half way to 31.
