I'm out. I can't believe they are holding up House of Wolves until May. I'm maxed already on 3 characters, what do I do for the next 3 months?

Heh, I will still play because I don't have a Horn. Once I get that and cap it I'll be complete as far as I'm concerned. Even though there's a helmet I want that I think is better than Light Beyond Nemesis, and I could use a helmet from Crota so I can use Heart of Praxic fire body armor, I don't necessarily need either. The fact that Bungie seems to be forcing only DLC weapons and armor to be sold by xur is beyond stupid to me. Especially when there are much better options pre expansion.

I've taken a month off while out of town and don't really miss the game. I'm sure I'll play when I get back in a few weeks but time to move on.

Well seeing as the order is supposed to only have a 13 hour or so campaign and we know little about whatever Mp it may have and Evolve seems to have failed to impress anyone I talked to about it, I don't think the impact will be that big. I mean a lot of people left to go back to CoD when the new one released but many on my friend list came back to destiny, same for GTA.

It is hard to say, but I would believe that the people who are playing all the time now will continue to play.

The order has no multiplayer. Evolve didn't interest me enough and I'd rather go and play destiny if I was bored than play evolve. But I haven't gone back to destiny, only to mess around as it's only better with those that have the expansion and I no longer care about leveling up. But I believe the player base will still be there. I've gone back to GTA story for now, I missed playing that.

One thing that bugs me about this game is how you can't join a fireteam if you are in between areas (not in orbit, but are traveling to somewhere). People usually send invites to more people than can fit on the fireteam so by the time I load into where I was going the team is full. Wish there was a way around that. Like if you could cancel your loading screen to join the fireteam or if it would tell the person inviting you that you are loading and cannot respond.

Did two nightfalls last night, 9 accendant shards and 10 stranges coins.. smh.

On the other hand, we ran crota normal and I got chest for my hunter, so I can get him to 32 and got a black hammer. Crazy how much easier normal feels now.

Finally got back to playing and hit 30 the other night due to some Crota help.

Sad.. No coins for Icebreaker. My weapons pretty much suck.

Technically you can get 18 coins and buy the ice breaker by doing the weekly on hard two times on two characters. If you have the time you could level a second character of the same class as your main and get to level 20 in about 10 hours. Then swap your gear through the vault and do weekly a second time on your alt.

Kind of a lot of work for one day though.

Yikes.. I don't know if I can do a char to lv20 that quickly cause of my availability to play (10PM - 1AM PST).. but good idea.

I do recommend starting a second character of the same class and doing the weekly events twice or even three times, to maximize your drop chances and coins.

I currently sit on around 160 coins that I never spend because xur never sells stuff I don't have or want.

Definitely going to start another char for that. Still a ton for me to do on the main as well.. finish story, the expansion, etc.

Yeah I think it is worth having another character of the same class so you don't have to farm down armor again for a new class.

Mostly because the RNG in this game is atrocious and seems to hate me. So any advantage I can get for drops is welcome lol

Got some motes to spare and started getting the exotic engrams, 3 at a time. Good thing I did that last time as I got helms for all 3 characters that would give me health when I pick up orbs. Really helpful for Crota HM.

Yeah but xur doesn't sell them that often anymore so I have started accumulating motes that I can't use. Same as coins now.

I ran a Crota HM raid last night. On the lamps, I got Oversoul Edict, so I was like "sweet, good start to the raid."

Bridge went w/o a hitch and I saw folks get abyss defiant, but all I got were shards.

Song of Ir Yut went fine, then we did Crota. All of us had the strategy down, but it was just small mess ups here and there that made us take like 6 attempts before bringing him down. All I got was energy and had to log off then.

I thought that was all I got until I logged in today. My bags were full during the raid, so I had an Abyss Defiant and Word of Crota (2nd one) waiting for me at the post master! Woot. Wish I got the Fang of Ir Yut, but meh, can't complain about getting 3 primary weapons in 1 run.

Yeah that isn't bad. I have every weapon from the raid except nechrocasm but it isn't that good anyway. I still never got a helmet, ship, or sparrow (not that I necessarily need them).

Is destinylfg.net still the best site to find other people to do Weekly Heroic Strikes, Nightfalls, and Raids? My friends don't have Xbox One so I've been just doing regular Strikes and Crucible matches . I'm surprised Bungie hasn't implemented matchmaking for these modes yet.

Bungie couldn't care less about what we have to say. Yes, that website and also Reddit make it easier to find groups.

Yeah. I figured out pretty early on that Bungie didn't care one way or the other. It's why I don't play the game anymore and regret my pre-order. I should probably just delete the game.

Thinking about that just now and matchmaking for raids probably wouldn't work because of the checkpoint system. When you pass a boss you get a checkpoint for that section and there would be no way to communicate that you are starting at a checkpoint or enter at that specific checkpoint if you just did matchmaking.

When you get a group from destinylfg or somewhere else and they are good players, add them as friends so you can see when they are online. Maybe hook up for another run sometime. I have probably 60 people on my list from this.
