This is correct.

You can do the entire raid on normal at 290 as long as you play it safe, that is don't think you can run up and melee the knights and survive etc. People are sometimes just elitist who won't accept anyone below a certain level or who hasn't done it before. It's quite bad in a game that requires you to work together with other people to get anything done. I had that problem at first too.

OK, maybe I'll do the court of Oryx again. I have gotten only a few legendary 300s, a fusion rifle and a titan helm. The rest are all mostly 290s.
I am on Xbone by the way.

We ran a normal mode raid this weekend with a guy at 284. he was pretty squishy and kept getting out of position on the ogre boss and died several times. we got some server glitches and ended up heading out to orbit where he went and decrypted some blues to get him up to 298 (lucky guy I guess). I don't think he would have done well on the sisters or oryx. The rest of our group was all around 305.

As far as I know yes because a lot of items and strikes are on PS4 first. The XB1 just got a few of the strikes and weapons we had been playing after a whole year.

hey guys, i'm currently a DoD member, 2 small boys so i typically get on around 10pm CST. I'm a 1.24 k/d - good, but not great pvper. current clan is a lot of fun but mostly pve oriented. i struggle to find a fireteam to run more than 1 trials card/week. ideally, i'd like to join a clan or find 2 consistent teammates who can practice in 3v3 a couple nights/week, then run at least two cards of ToO on the weekends. i want to improve and it's just not going to happen with current clan schedule/interest level.

I'm having a hard time understanding why you saved them or rather what you saved them for. Was there some type of update that changed the way engrams decrypt?

they added in a bunch of new exotics today (or made Y2 versions of them rather )

these didn't have year 2 versions before today

Nice, I managed to convince my brother to buy the game and following that, 3 other friends bought it, so we're now 6 that own the game in my friend list. I'm level 40 so i'll have to follow them or start a new character which is no biggy.

My question is, after we completed everything, how does the game works after that? Do you have different Strikes still available to complete? Raids are a thing and not sure if we'll manage to do some but that's a long stretch.

So, how many Strikes and other non-PvP stuff are available at the end of the game?

There are what, 8 or so strikes in the game? Plus 3 raids (VoG, Crota's End, King's Fall).

Prison of Elders but that's limited to 3 man teams.

Rest of stuff is just grinding quests, bounties, rep, weapons, and armor, which all of it is usually solo or limited to 3 man fire teams.

its based on the norla/heroic flag on the strike

nightfall is 290
heroic strikes are 260
normal are 220

You pick a play list and the one you choose determines the level requirement.

I'm level 8 and picked this game up to play again.. Its slow levelling, at least for me. My son is level 40 but only light level 260ish..

Well this game really picks up at level 40. Before that it's nice and all but at 40 you really start to play the game.

I'm normally a story player where i'd enjoy the game and leave when it's done and now it's the complete opposite.

I'm almost at 260 Light...newb I know, but slowly grinding the Playlist and we'll start the Dailys soon.

I also bought Hard Light for my Titan from Xür...damn fun weapon.
