Just happened to get back into D2 a few months ago. Since they just reset the ladder though I stopped.
Ok, I'm going to be the first person here (AFAIK, I'm not going to read through 450 posts...) to be critical...sorta. The game looks great, very cool, but to me it just didn't "feel" like a Diablo game. Destructible environments? Lots of in-mission talking? Heck, just the part where he climbed down a ladder or where the ceiling falls down and breaks the path. The entire pace of the game seems slowed down.
Not that these are bad things, once again, my only complaint is that it doesn't feel like the very familiar Diablo games I'm used to.
Another problem is going to arrive when I have to explain to my wife why I need to upgrade my computer. I've told myself for 3+ years that when D3 came out I'd upgrade, looks like it's almost time. I want to know what the minimum computer specs are to run it...I want to upgrade but not break the bank.
