Probably could have been stronger, but it wasn't password123. It had mix of cap letters and numbers. I have changed it, but this isn't a bad PW thing I don't think. Looks like a major bug or something on Blizzard's part. 26 page thread already.

Game is great, thats all i care about from someone that is actually lvl 60 and played it longer then 2 hours.

It seems you also care about what others think of the game you say you enjoy (enough to comment on it), even though your personal enjoyment of the game isn't what's in question here, but the inability of many other people to enjoy the game that they payed 60 bucks for.

The confusion and (seemingly) "losing your toon" come from something they implemented in an odd way:

You can log in on your toons, whatever area (Americas, EU, Asia) etc. you created them on - and then change the server WITHIN game while you are logged in. (At least this is how it seems). However, if you log out after you changed the servers in game and log back in, it tries to pull your toon data - but since you changed earlier it tries to connect to the new server location and cannot find your toons.

You have to go to options first and set back your location to where you made the toon.

Is anyone else making a decent amount of change on the AH? My best deal so far was to buy the legendary ring Nagelring for $500 and sell it for a net $39,525.

Why do the legendary items sell for so much when there are comprable (or better) rares much cheaper?

I waited through the 30 sec D3 commercial only to see some guy that I couldn't stand listening to.

The game play and environment is a giant step up from D2. The item system is just horrible though and nowhere near as engaging as D2's was.

To me that spells out the death knell for D3, as items are what this game is about.

The items are so boring so far. Where are the low level uniques (and why do they call them legendary now?)? I thought this was a sequel. Just seems like a similar game with the same title, but not a true successor/sequel.

Can't understand what anybody would complain about???? Auction house is AWESOME, easily searchable for any stat or attribute I want.. my items sell quick & easy for extra gold... Storyline is epic, cutscenes give me goosebumps...

The biggest complaint about the game is the loot system is pretty bad. I can see them doing a major overhaul patch changing it completely or when the first expansion hits.

That's the thing. Until you have gotten in inferno mode (I'm on A3 Inferno) the game is great; then it gets just good.

Like a poster above said, "where's my low level uniques and sets?." Everything is generic; I have no clue what any of my items are named, just their dps and bonuses.

With 70 hours in, I haven't seen a single set or legendary item; just completely random loot with stupid randomizations - int on bows, health globes nonsense on wizard items, etc.

If the entire game is literally about random gear and getting a perfect item for your class(ie. a high def or dps 6 property item with damage/int/sta/arcane power/mf/whatever for Wiz)... then it kinda sucks. Was fun getting to the point I realized it, but now not so much.

The loot is uninspired. It's just blue blue blue blue items, and they all have really bland stats. A little extra dex, or a lot of extra dex (or strength, etc.), but no really cool modifiers like Diablo 2 had. Also, where are the low/lower level sets and unique items?

This feels like WoW-lite to me, and WoW was a lot more fun.

Edit: I like the story of the game so far, and it's definitely a really lengthy playthrough (which is good/appreciated). The game isn't all bad by any means, but it just doesn't feel like Diablo to me; I'm definitely underwhelmed at this point. This point being a lvl 24 Monk nearing the end of Act 2.
