Up for me. Can never find pages of blacksmithing though on the AH.
Ok, so this is going to sound a little crazy, but I have to ask because now I'm very curious. I started a new Monk yesterday and was playing it a bit this morning before going into work. I got to the point where I helped the blacksmith, Haedrig, kill his diseased wife. After this, the gate opens to the north and you head up towards the cemetery.
In the randomly generated area between Tristam and the cemetery, I was just running through and killing whatever I could. I had ran over to the left side, about halfway up and after killing the last zombie in that area, I noticed something run up to the edge of the play area from off-screen. It looked like a person hiding in the bushes watching me. I couldn't target it or interact in any way. I sat and looked at it for a couple of seconds and then held down the shift key and threw a punch its way. The thing ran back off-screen.
I really wish I would've thought to open my inventory to zoom in on my character and then took a screenshot, but I didn't consider it until the thing was gone. Anybody heard of this? Maybe part of the secret level?
This is exactly the same as Diablo 2, so what's the complaint?
So, should I only have ONE toon be a blacksmith? Why waste all that coin training and more coin crafting if I can put stuff in my stash? BTW, I SWEAR the RNG hates me lol. SAME traits 3 boots in a row.

Also WRT to the elemental damage vs physical damage on weapons, I had a good chance to test it last night.
I had two of the same two-handed swords (yatagans I think) and one was just a blue weapon with +% damage on it so it was all physical. The other was a rare with no damage mods except for a big chunk of fire damage. The fire sword was something like 440 DPS, the physical sword something like 420, so close enough.
Simply put, the weapon with the higher DPS gave me more DPS on my sheet. The elemental sword resulted in my DPS output being something around 200 higher despite being largely elemental damage.
So in short, I don't believe non-physical damage matters in terms of raw DPS.
The one bad thing about all the randomness with level generation, is there is no I'll just play for 5 more minutes feeling. Been fairly busy last 2 months with minimal computer time, and before starting the infernal grind there just isn't any reason to sit and continue past a checkpoint unless you know you'll be playing until the next one. I do have my collector ed box now though so may insert that key this weekend to see what it gives. Funny thing was that when walking through walmart which at the time was out of any version of diablo, they still had 3 star c craft collector boxes.
never played any diablo before anyone got a guest pass they haven't and ain't gonna use? If this isn't allowed sorry.
heya sniper, they made a sticky for people who want guest passes. you might want to post there as well, but sadly, i think a lot of people got digital versions and therefore dont have guest passes to give out. maybe they will add something like they do for wow where you can give guest passes through bnet.
