Found a pretty great legendary quiver yesterday in A1 inferno. They're out there, but they work more like rares and blues do now, they need a dose of luck.
Actually from what I've seen a lot of the legendary and set pieces of armor are quite good on their own and the randomization makes it so that they can be more widely incorporated into builds and can potentially turn into really amazing pieces. I think people just see legendary weapons with bad properties and figure that's all she wrote.
I don't understand all the "well it's too much like WoW" or "too dumbed down" point of view. Diablo 2, while certainly fun in it's own way, was a shallow, easy, casual, simple game that was all about monotonous lootfarming. D3 has taken the formula, polished it and modernized it and done what they could to add an endgame to it. Farming A1 Inferno is far more enjoyable to me than doing Cow, CS, or Baal runs ever were in spite of the 'gear check' nature of Inferno. Further, the AH has made it far less of a hassle to actually find the gear you want and monetize the good items you find, no longer having to rely on a forum with a small audience or trade rooms filled with spammers and people who want to trade their Ravenfrost for an SoJ.
I hope they come up with some sort of mechanic to encourage party play eventually while farming/MFing. I understand why they average out MF and I like that solution better than the alternative (super high MF 'mules' getting 'carried') but it sucks that it serves as such a dis-incentive to actually be in the same game with my friends.
