It seems to me that almost no one who wants to PLAY this game is actually playing it. They get tired of the SP mode not working and quit. Everyone else does speed runs for loot or sends in bots.
I'm poor in this freaking game...always running at max 50k gold and after buying stuff at the AH I end up with 586g...
Sure i'm only half in Act 2 Nightmare but please tell that later money income gets better?
i think i read that on the black market 100,000 gold is like $3 or so.
Bots are real. There are youtube videos of bot runs.

im not even in lvl 60 yet and im pretty sure i got 500k at least upto now, spent in the stash tabs and leveling blacksmith/jewel and buying stuff. i wouldnt waste 10 bucks in somethign that its not that hard to get.
i think 10 cents is more like a real conversion

After i cleared Act 1 inferno, i took a look at how much gold i have looted ,
its fu**ing 1,350,000 gold only !! where the heck do you think i will get 2.5 million ?!
350k for an epic ( very powerdful gear ) is okey... 2 act 1 inferno runs and u get it,
but 2.5 million ? = 8 runs... which is equal TO 24hours of gameplay...
Spend 24 hours for 1 peice of gear only , WTF ?!

Umm, I just logged on to find my Monk sitting at Act 1 Normal with 300k gold gone (0 gold now).
Should I even bother to do anything about it?

To be fair 300k gold isn't much, if you want to sacrifice one of your lifetime restores you can call bliz support. This might roll you back a week or 2 though, so it might not be worth it at all.
To prevent in the future (anecdotal proof from various sources):
1) Don't reveal name in chat and don't join public games.
2) Put authenticator on account.
3) Play only private games or with known associates that you can punch IRL.
"Reduced level requirement" is quite an amusing property. I found a 600DPS level 60 two hander, pretty average, but it had reduced level requirement by 10 so my friend's barbarian has been enjoying that in Hell lol.
Also got my barb through more of A2 Inferno last night; it's doable, but definitely slower and whereas I can take anything A1 can throw at me, there are finally enemies that are simply impossible for me. My gear is pretty solid but there's definitely room for a few hundred more resists and armor and a better shield, but it does have me wondering if it'll 'ever' be enough lol. And even if I get to a point of realistic survivability, I think it'll be a serious damage compromise without some absolutely ridiculous gear.
Jeez, just the sheer amount of hacking going on is mind boggling. I'm actually thinking of getting the iOS authenticator on my iPad since it's usually near the computer (don't want to bother with the keychain or my horribly buggy Android phone).
