Certainly not disagreeing, but just to add: it looks like Bliz is doing some kind of extended "checking" on these auctions.. What that means, who knows.. Here is the email I got from my item sold last night.
not really, cause if you were lvl 60 that property would be is useless... so its a lvl 46 item
It's still technically a level 60 item. If you filter the AH to only show level 60 items, it will appear.
Woke up this morning, checked the AH, made some more sales. My total is now at $173. It's all still processing though.
Can't believe people actually paid for my gear, it wasn't exceptional or anything... I couldn't even survive A3 Inferno with it.
"When the PvP patch is ultimately ready, it will add multiple Arena maps with themed locations and layouts, PvP-centric achievements, and a matchmaking system that will help you and your team get into fairly matched games quickly and easily. We'll also be adding a personal progression system that will reward you for successfully bashing in the other team's skulls."

Maybe they have a way to match you based on gear level.
I found a recipe for the exalted fine flesh ripper. Level 62 Ceremonial knife. Do I wait to sell it as a commodity or make Ceremonial knives for sale on RMAH?
Possibly. They said item levels are in the game but hidden.
The progression system could also come into play (personal rating like WoW has/had?)
I screwed myself on the RMAH. They fixed the cancel glitch and I was greedy and put a bunch of crap up for like $100 per item lol. Now I got 10 listings sitting there for 2 days I cant cancel...
I made $2 though!(or like $1.60 or whatever it is after paypal fees lol)
Did you try the gold AH to see if it's fixed there? I figure they made the timer server side for RMAH cuz you can't well allow that kind of shenanigans when real money is involved.
its fixed on the GAH also, you get an error when trying to cancel after using the bug.Did you try the gold AH to see if it's fixed there? I figure they made the timer server side for RMAH cuz you can't well allow that kind of shenanigans when real money is involved.

Anyone got a super beefy DH or Wizard? I want to look at gear.
I could use someone strong to help me through A2 inferno as well.
If you have a question Adrenaline is your man
Ya know, I think this game is starting to show it's weakness, especially on replay value. I'm trying to figure out what Blizzard thinks is going to keep people playing.
The rush to level 60 happens way too fast and the rewards for getting there are almost non-existent. In Diablo 2 the character level cap is 99 and it takes forever to get there. In World of Warcraft it's lower but there is always some new quest to do. In D3 it doesn't take long to hit 60 and once you do your two choices are start a new character or start grinding for items, neither of which is much fun.
In Diablo 2 the highest item level requirement (that I recall) was 81 and the push from 81-99 was probably another 30-40 hours (pre-patch 1.09, 1.10 and after it was probably twice that). So once you hit 81 all the rest of the levels are for bragging rights/build perfection, but it's not necessary. But since EVERYONE hits lvl 60 in D3 there are no bragging rights, and since there are no character builds (other than item builds which are composed of randomly-generated stat items) there's nothing to perfect.
The grind to the high levels in D2 is just that, a grind, but at least it was fun (and not necessary for PvP, PvM, etc). Hell cows were fantastic, even Baal runs weren't awful and I know Blizzard changed it because "there were so many complaints," but it suffering through Inferno hoping you don't get one-shotted by every blue enemy you see something they consider fun?
I think they're hoping on people getting hooked on the RMAH and spending all their time MFing in the hopes that they'll find the one item that sells for $250 after the hype wears off.
Anyways, I'll step off my soapbox. I still enjoy D3 but I can tell my interest is already on the decline, something that took took over a year to hit me on D2.
