bingo.
Which is the entire intent as far as Blizzard is concerned.
bingo.

Deadly Reach = How I solo'd Inferno Belial, Azmodan and Diablo.... prior to the act 2/3/4 nerfs. Deadly reach with the +50% armour buff does wonders for survivability.Deadly Reach= Terribad
You can finish the game with far less than top shelf gear. Are people actually looking for anything other then top shelf gear?
Funny thing is many 800 dps weapons with crit damage or sockets for crit damage will outpace a pure 900 dps only weapon. All the weapons at the higher end are priced crazily. There are *pages* of 900+ dps weapons, one hand and two handed, that are set to buy out at several million, and a lot are junk aside from that dps. People must be buying gold to afford that.
Well, I tried to start the separate Diablo 3 Beaching thread, but it was closed down... I guess i'll hijack this one.
As Someone who played D2 and D2LOD; i am convinced that today it is a valid statemt that:

Friends dont let friends repost.
This issue is older than you. Either say something intelligent or let it go.
my FPS counter still not working.
Congrats man. Yeah drop rate has increased but so has the crap.
also I felt like if I didn't have 5 stacks of valor I couldn't get rares to drop. (and I have 3 stacks naturally on me)
Deadly Reach= Terribad. Back to Fist of Thunder. Drop rate does appear to have increased..but with 5 stacks and +30MF on my own I still found a few lvl 51 rares..wth.
So Ghom the larder....wtf.
Belial..on inferno..seriously..No problem.
Ghom? Face stomps me..I think after kiting him around for awhile I had him at "maybe" 45% hp.
18k dps at moment..I'm thinking I need to dual wield and burst him down more than have a shield.

I have found that most bosses do piss poor DPS compared to what you find from mobs leveling, and since most have an enrage timer, it is more beneficial to dual wield against them than sword n board. Also, most bosses swing slow and hit harder per swing, minimizing the necessity of a shield. Shields add armor, but their primary use is when you get 10 things hitting on you, you will block 2 or 3 out of the 10 swings.
IMO thats the nice thing about dual wield, some nice increase in your DPS without needing to buy another kick ass and expensive weapon. The weapon in your offhand only needs to be picked by the stats.
If you think you need to buy gold to have gold, you're a terrible businessman.
Thanks for that nugget of wisdom, but if I never find anything worthwhile, what am I gonna auction?
Is there a market for a shoulder drop I got?
+70 all resists
+30 Poison resist
+68 VIT~
And some +life regen.
Seems pretty good for a monk with high poison resist stacking.
