It's friggin hard knowing what sells for what. I have items that I thought were awesome and they won't sell at 2$...

I found an axe similar to his but with 890ish DPS, 10% IAS and double the str with no dexterity. That sounds pretty awesome to me but yet no interest in the RMAH at 50$ or 100$ (the prices similar weapons seemed to be listed at). Any idea what it should sell for in terms of gold?

I was also comparing a belt I found and the prices went from 17 to 250$ with the average being around 125$ but even listing at 20$ no sale.

Can I have it ... I could use an upgrade, LOL.

Just because it's listed on the RMAH doesn't mean that people are buying at that price. If I put up 10 similar items for $500, that doesn't mean other people should be selling something similar will sell at $500.

I sold a 933 dps weapon for 4.25. I looked at globally what 933 dps weapons sold for, then went to 935 dps, then looked at 900 dps. And gauged pricing based on that.

Sold within a few hours.

What kind of skill rotation should I be using though, I am in A2 and A3 inferno farming, but getting dropped pretty quick still.

I've played around with a few, between the standard 'tank' spec http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WXRVkP!beV!aabccZ - slow and steady but I rarely die end up with ~16k dps sword and board

As well as some things I've just thrown together that work well in act 2 but it doesn't seem to matter because I get 1-5 shot by elites in act 3 depending on my spec. Without IP up it's pretty much insta-death for me.

sidearm with LoH can give you huge spikes of health when there are lots of mobs lined up and it doesn't target destructible environmental objects instead. cleave is nice but my aoe dps is fine, my getting killed basically right away sucks.

So you get a lot of LoH as well? I was planning on focusing crit hit/chance....does sidearm aoe at all, or what other aoe skills are you using?

I stack crit/crit damage(40%/250-300%) and LoH(~1000). My aoe is primarily revenge. Most mobs go down in 1-2 frenzy hits and revenge crits wipe everything out. side arm hits everything in a straight line for 125% wep damage. Depending on what build I'm trying out, earthquake is my other AoE, it burns everything down with ease so I save it for elite groups which don't last long in act 2, it almost burns belial down in phase 2 before EQ is done.

Where are you getting your LoH from?

LoH is primarily from my weps, I think they've both got at least 400 but I can't log in to give exact numbers.

I actually like that build but I would try changing WoTB for EQ and see what happens.

If you want to try stuff out in game add me, and we can play with different options. Like only one of us needed war cry. I think for anything act3/4 I will have to start playing coop... I cant' tank and dps well enough to make progress without spending hundreds of millions.

I have been done with the game for a week or so and have no desire to play anytime soon. However, I am not going to be selling off my DH or WD stuff since I think someday I may get back into the game.

You should probably sell. Unless you start back really soon, like in a few weeks, you will be able to buy stuff better then what you sold when you start again.

Yes there are. If you just want the % Block it is a steal to buy with any stats on it.

+socket is always a GREAT addition to a helm for the %life
+Crit is awesome obviously
+Primary stat at decent
+Vit at a high level
+MF is icing on the cake.

Really..items in Diablo are a lottery ball system

1 ball is worth nothing
3 balls is worth a little
5 balls is the million dollar ticket.

This gets even more complex as every ball pulled has a min/max. For instance LOH on a amulet can be 50-650.

Can I see your gear sometime? I just need a better idea of what to get. I just got my barb to 60 the other day and got to act2 inferno. The elitemobs seem to kick my ass and I am guessing its because I only have like 400-500 resists and probably lowish armor. I have probably close to 0 LoH. I have seen plenty of experienced players say they dont even use LoH anymore so, I wasnt going to focus on that.

I dont know how people have such high resists. I have at least 50 resists on most of all my gear. You people must have to spend millions to get super high resists.

So, my crazy tank monk needs a little more damage. He's an insane tank 60% resist from armor, 81% resists from resist and the passive, 25% dodge, decent block, 700ish LoH, 18k bonus health from orbs. But he only does 3.3k dps......

Sure, he doesn't die except to the worst possible champ combos, but being shackled to multiplayer is a little annoying.

It sounds like you must have been very cheap on items and avoided those with a primary stat or at least a good amount of a primary stat. I'm not 60, but I know the items with good stats (especially primary + vit + other good defensive stuff) get really expensive, but 3.3k is really low. That's Act IV Nightmare or Act I Hell DPS.

Oh, see, he's tank at all costs. I have a WD I play with. Back when I had 20k dps, we died too much, so I said eff it, and stacked resists at the expense of all else. Now that I have 1250 resists to everything, I don't die at all, and it flows much faster, even though he does all the damage.

Do you think that it would be possible to find gear that provides some more Dexterity without losing much of your defensive stats? I guess the next question is whether said gear is affordable.

I'm stuck at the first boss of Act 3 Inferno. Farming Act 1, it seems like it'll take me *forever* to afford the million plus weapons. Even if I had 10 million in gold, I know I'd screw up and blow it on some overpriced item not even good for me. My 1-hand right now it ~875dps. Anything higher seems very expensive. I'm a Witch Doctor. I thought I might be able to get to the big leagues and beat inferno, but if doing so means farming Act 1 for weeks to make 20 million in gold, forget it, I'm moving on to another game.

Its hilarious. I've entered the Depths of the keep to be greeted by 5 lickers, and instadie. Hair pulling! Why do I endure this crap.

I've been watching the AH. I am poor. I only have 0.5M gold.

I'll be able to up it some, but I like the resilience and tankiness too much to give much of that up. Part of it is that it's hard to find a weapon that has my stats for cheap. (Mine is only like 400 dps)

To give you an idea, I can just barely finish off the butcher solo with this config. Actually, the floor does the enrage thing, and I can live long enough to finish him. It's pretty much just stand there holding LMB. My enchantress actually does nearly as much damage as I do
