It's getting really boring farming A3. Also 42m and can't find a decent upgrade that doesn't cost an arm and leg.

I wish I could farm A3 lol. Shit is way too hard for my DH.

Do you get one shotted or what, whats ur dps? I run with a friend who's a DH sometimes so he can get in on the loot but he dies like a dozen times/run.

wow, got my first item leveled above my char. a l50 templar relic at end of act3 nm. has a nice big str with life regen so its actually useful.

The other day, I got a Templar relic that was above my level as well. Unfortunately, mine wasn't that great.

I wish items of a much higher level had a set chance of dropping. Like there would be a very miniscule chance to get a level 63 item even in normal difficulty...well maybe not that big of a gap, maybe more like +20 lvl items from your current level.

Ya, I finally got a high damage (>1k dps) weapon yesterday... It was a 2h crossbow. POS fires so slow it's pointless.

Yeah thats the problem. I dont know what most DH's use now but if it doesnt have at least 1.20 attack speed, it makes it pretty rough to use.

just finished nm diablo on the wiz. what a pain in the ass. no one else seems to think diablo is difficult, but the one I always face seems to teleport often, and not surprising to unleash a fireball as soon as he comes out of it right next to me.

plus I've been playing D3 and not AH3, so while I've got a stash full of barb and DH items, picking has been a lot less appealing for the wiz. and now I've got to replay some NM so I can hit 50 and advance into hell.....

Got bored and used that 1250 dps 2H crossbow... It nukes everything from orbit, but its stats suck compared to my bow that has ~500 LOH and 150 vitality. Nice to have a reliable damage range from 900-1400 though (bow is 200-900).

Drop rates for usable items are just too shitty in Inferno. We're suppose to farm each Act in Inferno to get better stuff to move onto the next Act, except nothing good drops! I get like 1 good item every few dozen hours of farming. Gold is useless since the "great" stuff is priced in the millions range on the AH and I ca barely sell anything mediocre on the AH anymore for more money.

Speaking of, going to use the volume approach on RMAH from now on: everything for $2 just to get a sale.

I farm A1/A2 with a blue 972 Xbow with 69% crit damage

the only thing noteworthy with my gear is that I stack movement speed. 25% for my A1 gear. 19% for my A2 gear.

my crit % is base at 5%, so I rely on Sharpshooter passive to build up crit % and I have 242% crit damage.

versus elites, I primarily rely on hitting & critting with Cluster Arrow (Cluster Bombs) and movement speed + Caltrops when needed.

if you want to get an idea of burst/damage potential of Cluster Arrow (Cluster Bombs), I tend to kill Belial before he does a second mass circle aoe in phase 3. A2 DPS is 25.9K / 70.8K which is downright mediocre compared to geared DHes.

with that said, I've basically quit Diablo 3. I may play do a farm run when really bored, but the moment I find something more interested, I won't be looking back at Diablo 3.

I can Farm A3 (And A4 I'd bet if I could get past Grom). But it is significantly slower for me due to all the runners.

A2 I have a nice little circuit and typically will down Maghda too.

However, I found a pair of Natasysha's boots and put them up for Auction and sold them for 1750g.....LOL fail..didn't mean to put buy it now... They wouldn't have gone for more than a few hundred K anyways.

So far my fun trading game has gone from 5 dollar amulet sold for 30. Then a 20 (or 30 i'd have to check) Helm of Command going for 75.

I have been doing Inferno A3. My buddy and I have been getting quite a few of 63 drops, but every single solitary one of them is trash. Terrible stats that don’t do any better than some of the lvl59/62 gear I have been running around with for a while.

A ilvl63 Demolisher that has 400 dmg and worthless stats??? WTF!? I can do multiple hell runs and find lvl60 stuff that’s WAY better.

I don’t get this game. Every ilvl 63 part I find is utter trash. Tons of stats, but not enough of any one stat to make it useable.
I take that back. The ONLY thing I may have found that can be considered good, would be my archon gloves with crit hit chance and, gold find, 123 str, 100 dex. If they had vitality or + res all, they would be perfect.
I think I am going to start selling all of my unidentified 63 crap.

Anyone have a decent one handed mace/ax/sword for sale or trade? Looking for LoH (500+), +str, +vit and a socket or good crit hit damage boost.
If you do, hit me up. I have some other LoH gear to swap around for trading.

This seems to be a trend. People make loads of cash selling Unidentified crap.

I think I'm going to jump on this bandwagon besides maybe Rings/Amulets as these typically are worth a fair amount.

2 Hander's? Sure I'll also Sell those too. 2h Crossbows...I may just keep because of the lucky 250 dollar dps ones.

So my thoughts are sell everything unidentified

Keep Rings/Amulets/2h Xbow/1 handers for myself.

Ok. Well I haven't started selling them yet, however I see trade chat spam all the time for them. Typically range from 100-300k a pop, and there are plenty of noob gambler's out there. Whether or not they sell is another story. however they appear to sell on there.

The claim was that an items properties are determined by the server at drop time, and you can see them before identifying with a memory viewer. Thus, anything good gets identified and sold, while the junk get sold to would-be gamblers as unidentified.

I can't say for sure it's the truth, but it seems plausible enough to give anyone thinking about buying unided rares pause.

Supposedly "session hacking" was plausible too. I'd call bullshit on this pretty much right off the bat; I highly doubt any of that item data is going to be kept locally.

You think? I kinda thought at the time of identification there would be a random query to server to generate a stat list...hmmm... i wonder if there has been a blue post on this. I am very curious now.

It's pretty confirmed items stats are rolled at drop. There has been instances at launch when the game crashed a lot where people were rolled back after having id'd an item and when id'ing them again, the item stats were exactly the same as before the crash and rollback.

The items stats are determined at drop by the data isn't stored client side, that is why there is no offline component for the game. The only time you can see the stats is like you say, during a server side rollback.

Thanks for your guys' help, respec'd, picked up 2 more pieces of all res gear, and can now safely roll through A2 inferno ... died maybe once or twice, got 5 stacks and had no issues...sadly, no drops either, haha.

It does seem the AH part of this game has gone a bit overboard. Most of the official forums are useless as its post after post of people trying to sell crap. Stupid mods should be moving that crap to the trade forum.

Did a little act1 hell. My 2k dps pew pew isn't quite so good anymore.
