Is act 2 farming worth it at all? The elites are spread out all over the place and some of them are really difficult. (nagas fuuuuuuuu) When I ran through it I didn't get much loot, nothing better than what i'd have gotten in act 1.
Act 2 is great. I farm the desert area's..there are 3 of them leading up to mahda. Once you get to the cultists.. I kill the first set of elites in my way and then rush to the boss entrance.
Lol@ spoiler text.

The "desert area" is BY FAR the worst, most annoying place in the entire game.
I really hate how hard it is to see items that drop in act2 "bright" areas. It may just be my settings, but I'm not changing them for just that.
No clue what you are talking about here. Must be your settings. I use spacebar to see items that fall on ground. Why is it "hard" to see them?

, especially diablo no less
Adria was completely WTF
Diablo: You have served me well, you may leave
Adria: kthxbye --> "Walks away casually"
What do I need for Inferno Act II? I've finished Act I pretty easily. I'm playing as a demon hunter.
My stats are:
15K damage (28K with sharpshooter skill at full 100%)
Armor: 3K
Life: 32K
Resist: Between 160-260 for each (260 is the only one that high...for fire)
Damage, lots of it, at the cost of resists/health. The DH I run with has like 50K dps (no sharpshooter), 20K health and 0 resist. Obviously you don't need that much damage for act 2 but that's the direction you need to head. What do I need for Inferno Act II? I've finished Act I pretty easily. I'm playing as a demon hunter.

Dont know what skills you use, but regarding builds, you should be building damage. I dont ever even look at my resists or armor. Its pointless in inferno, you would need 500 resists or so to even start to notice a difference. I have my HP close to the same as yours.
The only issue that sticks out is your fairly low damage. Need decent attack speed as well.
Even I have trouble killing some packs in act2 and I have like 30k damage before ss and about 72k dmg after.

I play, pretty much, a kiting build. (tactical advantage with vault and smokescreen) In addition to TA and SS I also use the Archery skill (+50% crit damage with xbow).
I did alright trying to get through Act 2 until i came to my first blue mob and they had walls and the duplicates or whatever and they just destroyed me.
Other than buying a better weapon (i have a level 63 xbow with 890 dps) I dont know to increas damage without loosing out a bunch on vitality. i have half of my gems as +DEX and half +Vit so that i can take a hit without getting one-shotted all the time.

Yeah thats the problem. I dont know what most DH's use now but if it doesnt have at least 1.20 attack speed, it makes it pretty rough to use.
just finished nm diablo on the wiz. what a pain in the ass. no one else seems to think diablo is difficult, but the one I always face seems to teleport often, and not surprising to unleash a fireball as soon as he comes out of it right next to me.
plus I've been playing D3 and not AH3, so while I've got a stash full of barb and DH items, picking has been a lot less appealing for the wiz. and now I've got to replay some NM so I can hit 50 and advance into hell.....
