any good WD builds to share?

Right now, I'm doing what I call VQ pets.. lol

I can still tank a bit b/c I have loh, life steal, and such on my c-knife. But now, it's just extra health potions for me, sort of.

So, I use:

plague of toads: rain
Bats: Dire Bats
spirit walk: jaunt
bbv: mana
garg: bruiser
dogs: healing

passives:
Jungle fort, fierce loyalty, VQ

I spam bats as much as possible, while I proc loh and vq from my toads.

works well with pets tanking for me.

I used to play Diablo 2 with both of my younger sisters, names are Brittani and Summer. They both had the game and played Diablo 3 with me, but recently my sister Summer's boyfriend dumped her, and took his laptop and the copy of Diablo 3 with him - the Battle.Net account it was under was also his.

I found out last week that both of my sisters are moving to Florida on Monday (I live in Iowa, so it's a big deal). It would be great if there was something we could still do together online to keep us bonded and talking and enjoying each other's time, even if it's not in person. And just to show proof

Glad to hear that some of you are enjoying the game still. I logged in to try the game again on Tuesday but 200dps weapons rated @ lvl 61 dropping in A1 Inferno is still insulting...I understand they modified the base on the weapons and it's RNG dependent but c'mon seriously?

Where the hell is the linear progression?

It's frustrating to get good gear that isn't really compatible. I can get my monk to 40k DPS, or 2k LoH, or high crit, or decent armor/resists, but each sacrifices too much of the other and I can't find a good middle ground.

Currently stuck on Ghom; this fight really just feels like the game's way off forcing people to go buy shit in the AH. I've managed the rest of the Act okay so far, and I can farm Act II fine, but I just don't have the resists to stand in his cloud for more than a couple seconds. I wouldn't mind so much if the difficulty gradually increased, but I was doing fine and then suddenly I need 500 more Resist All to advance any further. I'm sure I could finish the rest of the Act with my current gear if I could just get past him.

I am interested in making my current frenzy barb(who I havnt played much or updated gear on in over a month) into a ww barb. Any experienced people tell me what skills ww barbs use and what gear I should aim for?

Do ww barbs dual-wield or what? What weapons do I need and what off-hand do I need?

Can anyone show me decent gear and skills used, that would be helpful.

I've noticed the same thing!! Gear that would've cost a couple mil pre patch is now going for 15-20M. I can't afford that shit.....Searching for items that upgrade what I'm already wearing (and it is NOT great stuff by any means), and I get 2 or 3 items, for like 175-200M. Seriously.

Exactly. The gear I have right now is worth well over twice as much as it was before with some piece's going for multi-millions just to match the stats I have. If I made close to a million a day I'd be able to buy maybe one piece of gear a month worthy of inferno levels 3 and 4 with the stats I want.

No way I'm spending real cash on this title just to master it and no way am I farming act 1 or 2 in hopes of finding an entire armor set that match's my needs, that'd likely never happen. The only purpose gold in D3 serves is to frustrate people to the point of saying f*ck it, I'm gonna spend some cash.

Time to make some Chinese friends and bot the sh t out of this title.

I'm a monk who switched to double ww barb. Best decision I've ever made. My monk can take a punch better though... has more survivability and never dies but running anything just feels so slow. I'm addicted to the speed and mobility of the barb.

dual wield, you want high LoH and Crit damage on both weps if possible. One skill I like to Overpower with Momentum to help with rage, basically hit it in the middle of a group and you're at full rage again. If you have high enough crit it's pretty much always up too which can lead to long strings of WoTB with Thrive on Chaos. My problem with WW is I don't have enough res for act 3 w/o my shield I also apparently got rid of my crit helm too like an idiot.

I have somewhat quit the game over the past month, I sold off all my gold on RMAH before it dropped below $.25 per 100k. Anyways, I have about 5 mil gold now after playing a little bit with my DH and Barb. I havnt known exactly what stats I want on gear for him. Basically im just going for resist all on stuff with strength and vitality. Trying to get a little crit chance and crit dmg here and there too but my gear right now is not the best.

There is a certain strat that makes Ghom solo do'able. You slowly lead him around in a counterclockwise fashion avoiding the gas. Use your serenity to get hits in.

The Restless Giant rune, for the WD's Gargantuan ability: Does anybody know if you can still reset the enrage/buff timer by recasting the Gargantuan, or was that nerfed/fixed?

Found a dagger in act 3 inferno that did 91 dmg. Lame! Also found a lvl 63 2 handed bow that did 329 dmg :/. So not doing too good on drops despite my non-stop farming lately. That jackpot drop is just around the corner, though

Also found two Legendaries yesterday, one of which was decent. It's a 1 handed axe that ups damage from fire skills by 23%, has ~ 600 LoH, and chance to ignore pain when hit. I don't have a screenshot, but you can see it on my profile.

6 yards added for gold and health pick up

Treasure Goblin sometimes spawned when hit.


What should I asker for it? I'm a level 49 warrior and its the only character I have.

Check the auction house for other puzzle rings with similar stats.

Dex is good, the pickup and globe health are throwaway stats, but the treasure goblin thing is pretty neat.

Nice, the axe isn't bad. Killing Ghom in a group is way harder than solo unless you have a Barb who can face tank him.

Okay, so I'm finding a shit ton of ~900 dps weapons, which is a huge change since the last patch. None of them are selling on the AH though even for cheap - probably obvious why.

Found two uniques today: one was a pair of lvl 56 gauntlets that sucked and a two-handed sword with 895 dps, which is pretty craptastic. It had 12% movement speed and 12% gf though, so maybe that'll sell. There are only 10+ pages of the exact same item though.

Anyone got any decent wizard 4%+ crit chance with int and damage rings for trade for a decent price? I could use one or two. I dont have much gold but willing pay a fair price for one.
