Yeah, I've been looking for stuff -- got a decent chest and wand (well, decent at the time I got them) for relatively reasonable price. Problem I have now is that I'm pretty low on funds (only about 125k).

Also, here is my current gear: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Aristides-1704/hero/3783425. What items/stats should I prioritize increasing?

First, buy some flawless square topaz to fill those empty sockets. They're only 230g each on the ah.

Second, save all your gold and don't upgrade anything if possible till level 44. At level 44 go to the AH and search for 2 handed weapons and armors with reduced level requirements of 16. For about 50-60k, you'll be able to get into a 550-600dps 2 hander with 200 int. For the armors, set the max buyout at 20-25k and see what you can find. Don't be afraid to bid on a few items as well since you can get them at decent prices. You can also causally look for reduced level 18 items but they tend to be out of your price range.

Once you hit 44 your dps is going to sky rocket.

my suggestion to you would be buy a -req high dmg weapon. don't even worry about anything else on your armor. Just get anything with + exp and something you can pop in vita with.

your main priority should be leveling and by getting a high dmg -req weapon you can take care of that.

are you selling everything and gonna rebuy all items after the patch? and if so, for what reason? I suppose you wont be farming during this time...

That's correct. My intention was not to sell everything... there were some pieces I wanted to keep. But seeing as I wasn't going to be able to farm regardless, I put those items up anyway albeit at ridiculous prices. That people actually bought them took me by surprise.

Not much of a reason for me to farm until the next patch and after the patch, I could farm MP1 relatively easily on budget gear until I actually replace all my old slots back.

I'm sittin on some gold as well because I don't feel like there's any reason to buy anything before the 1.05 patch. AH prices will go down across the board. Also I heard some legendary items will change. I don't want to buy a 40m set item and then have it nerfed shortly thereafter. AH prices are crazy now but people are still crazy enough to buy them. A seller's market for sure

What were the stats on your Tyrael's might? Did it have sockets?

No sockets... those are way too expensive for no good reason.


Mine was something like:

182 str
151 vit
12% to demons
12% move speed
4% to elite
ignore durability

it was 75ar they all come with 70 minimum though as is the 12% movespeed

I had bought it for only 108m so I thought the value was around 110, 120 tops... I put it up for 180m and got 157 out of it. Will see about buying a similar one back at 108

I'm in the wrong business here, seems flipping high value items is the way to go given my horrible track record on farming valuable legendaries

Are you being modest in those projections? I'd think you could do more. I get 200k/hour while going through A1 and zero gear for GF/MF (I don't stop to pick up rares, click bodies, or go out of my way for anything; PL24, NV5 within the first 5 minutes...so 147%?).

Nope, I think 400-450 is my max and I've timed it once or twice. I'm probably slowing myself down picking up magics/rares and selling them every 5 minutes (about 15k gold per load). That and my gold pick-up radius sucks at just 6'. I dumped the other 7' for something like 20% gf and dps.

I also stick to Act 1 because the concentration of elites is higher in certain areas (get NV 5 quickly), I die less (almost 4k gold cost per death), I find roughly the same quality of items as in Act 2 since I can't do Act 3 without dying less than 2 times an hour, and I can load up on gf/mf gear.

And for bragging rights (?), my DH is at 72k dps base and 131k dps with 100% crit chance. Health is only 36k and resists are down to 200, but It seems like I can only take one or two hits in Act 3 unless I kill my dps and bring it down to the 40k range.

Total 204 hours, the paragon level 9 and I've only found 2 brown items. In fact, it's been a week since I've been working on my paragon and haven't found any yet. Is this considered normal?

rng is random, i have friends with over 300 hours and haven't had a legendary drop, then i have friends who seem to get 1-2 a week since launch

My uniques have been coming in pairs lately. Like once or twice a week, there will be one or two uniques dropped within an hour. Then I get a huge drought of good/usable rares and uniques the rest of the time.

I've been running with max (375%) MF lately and it's been fun.

IIRC, you have 290% crit dmg increase? Mines is 280%, so that's weird. Higher attack speed? I use a crossbow.

I use Smoke Screen with the extended time rune. A few day ago, I swtiched my 4th attack skill to the volley thing with a rune that increases discipline for when I run out of it and desperately need to haul ass.
