Yeah I'm bored too. I played a bit yesterday as there were a few people online I used to run with. We did some farming, then some ubers. That was alright.
I blew 100M gold on a witching hour. It upped my dmg by ~12k I think.
How are you so well geared at PL 41?
It blows my mind that some of you guys spend 250m+ on a character...I have one of each class and most of my builds are between 5-10m, with my WD/Wiz having about 20m each in them...I guess I just need to get a really good drop to finally take me up to baller status.

What's this about items becoming soulbound?
This game is trash, I finally quit about a week ago.
Boring itemization (just stack AS/CC/CD and primary attribute), complete shit drops, auction house, no socialization, discouragement of group play, no character customization or build diversity, AH bots and gold farming bots, and finally, shitty communication by Blizzard with the community.
Move to Path of Exile, it is amazing a game that is FREE is so much better than D3. I can only imagine what they could have done with the game if they had Blizzard's resources.
No AH gold based economy but a item based trading economy, an actual customization skill tree, great itemization with huge diversity potential, and the list goes on.
By customization, you mean picking a bunch of main stat nodes, or choosing what weapon you will use at level 10 for the rest of the game without knowing what you'll actually end up getting later on? Oh and the economy is awful. "Hey want this item, well instead of farming some amount of gold, go farm some amount of [random item I want]" Yeah, that is a lot of fun. Let us not forget how unpolished the game itself is. The sounds are terrible, the animations look like what I'd expect from D2 (you know, 10+ years ago). Why don't you go post in the PoE thread instead of trying to troll in here.

Sorry to say, but that's just the truth. Go to the Blizzard forums and see for yourself how upset the community is. I GUARANTEE Blizzard will not fool the community twice and you can expect any sort of D3 expansion to be a major sales disappointment in comparison to D3. Look at all the fails from Blizzard: still no PvP, still shitty crafting, still boring itemization, still a horrible economy.........and so on.
Once again, POE is free, D3 is made by a large corporation with endless resources. Obviously one is more polished, but one sticks to the communities roots and isn't some dumbed down game that is made to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

And PoE has a lot of terrible things with it. The itemization is even worse. Main stat and a couple affixes are all you worry about in D3. In PoE, you've also got to worry about number of sockets, color of sockets, and if they are linked or not.
You want to quote the Blizzard forums! Ha. The same forums that have people who have bitched about WoW for 8 years and still put in thousands of hours. People will bitch on the internet all day. Most of those people on Blizzard's forums, continue to play. But, Blizzard doesn't bother locking or removing threads that criticize them and don't have GM's who mute / ban people for discussing the positives of other games.
But PoE is free right? I am suppose to ignore all those things, and the fact their are 3 combat sounds in the entire game because I didn't pay for it!

If you hated the game so bad, why did you insist on playing it for so long? I really don't understand why everyone is so pissed at this game, and yet they have hundreds of hours logged.
It sounds like you may have just gotten burnt out on it. I'm glad you found something more enjoyable to play, but claiming that the entire D3 community feels the same way as you and your only proof of this is because of all the negative threads on bnet is a little sad.
1.) Unlike most other games, Diablo 3 is a loot-based ARPG. The warning signs of it being a terrible game were there (terrible story, discouraged group play) but there were also signs of greatness because the combat was so fluid and polished. To get a good feel for games like these you need to log a lot of hours before you realize all you did was waste time. The end game for me was just running around in circle pressing sprint.....and people I grouped up with usually did the same. There was also the fact that Blizzard promised PvP (a big component in Diablo 2/LoD) and released occasional patches that would make the game more interesting for a while which kept me playing for a while. The only act worth farming is Act 3 because it has the best monster density and Ubers are a waste of time because surprise the ring sucks donkey balls 90% of the time. This game failed at being a Diablo game and that's just the truth.
2.) Of course not everyone is going to criticize the game, there's the usual Blizzard fanboys, Diablos fanboys, and finally the people who actually like the game. As the game is right now I would wager that 60%+ of the playerbase was unsatisfied and as far as the industry goes they have completely rejected Diablo 3. I think this is the only Blizzard game that won no GOTY awards but it did win plenty of the "Most disappointing game of 2012" awards.
You sound like a butt-hurt fanboy. If the PoE system is too complicated for your brain, than I can understand your love for D3's simple system where there is one set of BiS gear for each class and no theory-crafting.
Enjoy the dying game and Diablo 3 community. If you think this game was not an overall disappointment coming from D2 fans, you are blind and cannot be helped. I can assure you, most will not be coming back next time around.
