Monks can teleport if you build it that way but the teleport is not perfect. You only teleport every 3 swings, and unless you shift click you will still run to close the gap, in which case you'll swing in-place without a target until you teleport to the monster.

Thunderclap teleports on the first strike only. You can reset the swing by letting go and reclicking usually.

I got my monk to 55 and am debating just getting him powerleveled to 60 real quick as well.

Seriously, I lvled up a monk to 60 in about 8 hours with cain+radiant ruby+hf ring+mp10 thorugh out. It was stupid quick.

I wish hf ring+radiant ruby were around when plvels started. I was @ plvl 10 by the time I finished Inferno with my monk.

Yeah I got to 55 really quick but MP10 Hell hits me pretty hard. I have two 800+ dps weapons, but the rest of his gear is Cain's set or trash. Sadly, I have a 100k+ dps set waiting for him to hit 60.

just keep doing arreat crater 2 for the scopion pack things, that's all i did to level up, it was super fast. i had a radiant gem + cains set also, but i purchased a leorics signet just for leveling and sold it back afterwards

Right, but that's one reason to have a fast attack speed (among several other much more important reasons). It resets faster if your attack speed is quick. I would venture the hard cooldown is somewhere around .5 seconds. Since I run around with my primary attack on my right mouse, I just hold it down and move my mouse. When those instances happen where I'm just out of range chasing the monsters and my last strike was the first or second punch, I can unclick and reclick and I usually teleport right away (if within distance of the teleport). I've had to do it repeatedly on some elites that have the fast attribute and I keep fearing them away, lol. It's a pain. :/

If only you had rolled socket instead of vit it would have been amazing. Great manticore either way though. A lot of people don't realize that a 1300 1 socket is much more dps than a 900 with 2 sockets.

I've actually tried an 890-ish dps Manticore with 2 sockets. I don't think it had dex, but my total buffed dps was significantly lower than a 1090-ish dps Manticore with 1 socket and dex.

Not abandoned at all. Blizzard is working on a massive item overhaul and overall legendary change. They are talking about changing item drops in general as well.


Played a bit last night and accepted the friend requests, but nobody was on. Like the 3rd mob I killed dropped me an awful pair of Blackthorne's pants.

I had two of the damn lvl 58 Wizard Hat drop yesterday on MP6 in the couple of hours I played. I now have a total of 3 and they are all crap.

I swear, what's the point of playing this game when 99.9% of the items that drop for you are utter crap?

If this new patch they are working on doesn't make items other than a Skorn/Echoing Fury usable I'm going to be pissed.

I swear, what's the point of playing this game when 99.9% of the items that drop for you are utter crap?

If this new patch they are working on doesn't make items other than a Skorn/Echoing Fury usable I'm going to be pissed.

If even 50% of the items you found were amazing, this game would get boring fast. They have to dangle that carrot in your face in order to make a loot hoarding game like this work.

They talked about making the overall number of items dropping less, but the quality of said items higher. They also acknowledged the crafting materials obtained from these would be adjusted to meet the crafting requirements or vice versa.

And they are talking about making legendaries scale to the level of the monsters it drops from. So, the level 59 trash you find will be scaled to level 63. This would work for all legendaries. Leoric's was the example they used. They also talking about how not all stats scale linearly with level. While something like XP gained, stats, and attack speed do, things like "chance to summon xxx" or "launch fireball" won't scale as much.

That sounds a bit better. I'd just like to see more variation in the top weapons. With DHs, it's a 2 socket dex manticore, or maybe a calamity with a socket. There's no reason you'd ever use anything else.

Make shields actually worth something. No one uses them, so up the stats or give them some special properties so they are attractive again.

There is always going to be a weapon that is better than the rest. I think with the new legendary rolls, the dynamic of "this is BiS no matter what" will change some. There is an x-bow that has a high chance to freeze, that might end up be more desirable than straight damage. It is just low level so is really only good on your scoundrel.

i'm hoping its worth >100 mil
so i can finally get a nice IK chest with 175 str, 175 vit hehe

lol let's try this again, i JUST got another tal rasha's chest, hopefully this one is worth something

177 intel, 48 vital, 80 resist all, +198 armor.
i see nothing else like it on the AH probably due to the perfect resist all roll.

thoughts on what i should list it at?
